Hailey Bieber’s Obsession With Strawberries Goes Beyond The Fruit & Her Lip Balm!

The strawberry makeup trend has taken over my For You page and it’s everything makeup mavens are raving about. While this specific look may be something that’s common in the K-Beauty scene, Hailey Bieber popularised it across the globe.

Now, I’ve gathered up all my red blushes and tints I could find to take on this trend. And I have none other than Hailey Bieber herself to guide me with her simple strawberry makeup tutorial. Check it out.

What Is Strawberry Makeup?

Inspired by the juicy fruit, the strawberry makeup trend is all about making your skin look flushed with a reddish tinge on your cheeks. Paired with freckles that are a direct reference to the exposed seeds seen on strawberries, this look is very minimalistic and is a fresher take on the no-makeup makeup look.

The trend requires a little concealer, a good helping of bronzer, faux freckles, a red blush, brown eyeliner, a lip liner and a gloss.

Strawberry Makeup Tutorial By Hailey Bieber

Step 1: Hailey prepped her clean skin with her Rhode Glazing Milk and Rhode Peptide Glazing Fluid.

Since the glazing milk isn’t currently available in India, you can try the COSRX Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence as it’s another great hydrating product that repairs the skin barrier. Follow it up with the Rhode Peptide Glazing Fluid for dewy plump skin.

Step 2: She then brushed up her eyebrows with a clear brow gel for a feathery effect. You too can get effortless model eyebrows like Hailey with the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Gel – Clear and it appears to be the exact product she used in the video too.

Step 3: After doing her brows, Hailey went in with a cream bronzer. She applied it on her cheekbones, forehead, and later on in the video applied it on her eyelids too.

The exact bronzer she used is by Tom Ford but the Sephora Sun Disk Bronzer is a great affordable option you can try out.

Step 4: Hailey followed the underpainting technique as she applied very little concealer after bronzer. One dot of concealer under each eye and on either side of her lips did the trick.

Hailey is a fan of the NARS Concealer but the MyGlamm Super Serum Concealer is a great fit as it is infused with niacinamide and is super lightweight.

Step 5: For blush, Hailey mixed two cream blushes together to get that rosy flushed glow. For cheeks just like Hailey, you can try The Body Shop Sheer Touch Lip & Cheek Tint.

Step 6: She also mentioned that she used a peachy highlighter to get that glow. And for that, I find the Flossy Dream Gleam | Pinking About You to be a great fit.

Step 7: Hailey used a freckle pen by Morphe to create faux freckles on her nose and cheeks but unfortunately the product isn’t available in India. However, you can always use a brown eyeliner pen like the Manish Malhotra Precision Liquid Felt Tip Eyeliner – Bronzite to achieve similar effects. You can also use it to define your eyes as Hailey’s next step is applying a brown liquid eyeliner pen.

Step 8: After applying eyeliner, Hailey used her favourite Hourglass Caution Extreme Lash Mascara to get fluttery and fuller lashes.

Step 9: She then lined her lips with a nude brown lip pencil, following which the Rhode Skin founder dabbed the same blushes she used on her cheeks on her lips as well. She finished off with a swipe of lip balm.
