The Gush Beauty Play Tint Is Fun, Functional, And A Little Fussy!

I own the Gush Beauty Play Tint in the shade Jawbreaker (which is the best shade, imo). I’ve been using it for the better part of a year now, and here’s what I think!
What Is It?
The Play Tint is a 2-in-1 cream-based, lip and cheek tint that can essentially be used for a full face of makeup. It comes in the cutest pink acrylic box and each variant has two shades. There are four different variations and the one I have is Jawbreaker, which has a gorgeous plum and a vibrant red tone. The product is infused with ingredients such as hyaluronic acid and chia seed oil that claim to hydrate the lips like a nourishing lip balm.
Our Thoughts
I’m not exaggerating when I say that this is the product that made me realise purple is my colour. The Play Tint is by far the best product in Gush’s arsenal and I can say this with confidence because I’ve used everything they’ve launched. The formula is buttery, buildable, and super lightweight. It is truly a multifunctional product since it works great as a lip tint, blush or eyeshadow.
The best part is that the pigment is kind of sheer, which gives your skin a flushed-from-within type of natural glow. And I love the fact that it has two different, yet complementary shades in one piece. If you’re feeling extra adventurous, you can also mix the two to create your very own third shade. Super budget-friendly and easy on the skin too, while it does not add moisture, it doesn’t dehydrate or chap your lips either.
The tint is not transfer-proof but that’s not what bothers me since most tints aren’t. My problem with the product is with the packaging. I assumed a multifunctional product would be one you could carry when you need a quick touch-up on the go. Well, the packaging of this product might be super cute but it’s extremely inconvenient to carry. The box is pretty bulky and I often choose to wear and carry another product because I know this one will be hard to add to my purse/makeup bag.
How To Use It
I like to use this for everything: eyes, blush, lipstick. As I said, the pigment is extremely buildable. As long as you use a good primer, it’ll stay on for the whole day. The colour does fade off pretty easily but that’s one of the cons of such a sheer, buttery formula. I usually put on a little bit of moisturising lip balm/vaseline before applying this on my lips and touch it up as and when required.
What It Looks Like
In Conclusion
Gush Beauty is always delivering the cutest products in affordable prices. They always have an offer going on when it comes to these so don't even consider it, just get it. I'm serious.
