John Lennon was right: “Life is what happens to you while you are busy making other plans.” And that is precisely what happened when Gurjot met Sahiba. There were no butterflies in the stomach or violins in the background. Instead, it was an arranged marriage setup that slowly blossomed into love and ultimately, into a wedding. The beautiful couple got married at The Leela Ambience Hotel, Gurgaon with much aplomb and their wedding pictures (shot by Slice of Life Photography) prove that! The Engagement
Sahiba’s make-up artist, Simran Takkar wanted to go for a glam look for her engagement and opted for metallic smokey eyes that contrasted with her emerald green lehenga by Soltee by Sulakshana Monga.

The Mehendi
Sahiba’s mehendi decor is what Pinterest dreams are made of! From cheery marigolds to hanging bells and pinwheels, we absolutely loved the cool (colour coordinated) setting.
Isn’t this white and yellow lehenga a beauty? It was designed by none other than Sahiba’s cousin Param of Param Sahib’s clothing.
The Wedding
The wedding was a true reflection of minimalism and class. While Sahiba wore a heavily embroidered pink lehenga, Gurjot looked every bit of a dapper groom in a golden sherwani and a matching pink safa. Sahiba’s beautiful soft matte make-up was done by MUA Meera Sakhrani which beautifully complemented her intricate bridal jewellery from Manoharlal jewellers.
