Bigg Boss 16 has been one of the most unpredictable seasons in Bigg Boss history. Well, coz Bigg Boss himself is going all out to cause drama among the contestants. This week, the season’s infamous couples—Gautam Vig–Soundarya Sharma, and Shalin Bhanot–Tina Datta—got nominated. Now as per the tittle-tattle, Gautam Vig has been evicted.
This week’s nomination task took place after Sajid Khan was made the captain. He chose to save his five favourites — Abdu Rozik, Shiv Thakare, MC Stan, Nimrit Kaur, and Sumbul Touqeer. The other seven contestants had to fight to save themselves. Shalin, who already knew that he and Tina would get nominated, plotted and planned against Gautam and Soundarya. He was certain that among the four of them, Gautam and Soundarya had higher chances of getting eliminated. Now as per reports, Shalin’s hunch has come true. Here’s what Twitter is saying:

This eviction comes as a shock to most people as a lot of them assumed that Soundarya would be the one who’d have to leave. But like we said, this is quite an unpredictable season, right? Gautam has always been self-conscious about his position in the house and has done everything he can to save himself. The Agni Vayu actor even chose to forego the entire house raashan in order to achieve captaincy. His alleged “fake romance” with Soundarya and “fake friendship” with Shalin has always kept him under the radar. Looks like all of this has worked against Gautam.
His ex-wife, Richa Gera is of the opinion that Soundarya ruined Gautam’s game. She stated, “I want to see Gautam win the trophy but his love angle with Soundarya Sharma is making news on the show and outside. I have no issues and I am happy to see him move ahead in life. They make a great-looking couple. But I feel they’re rushing into it. Gautam takes time to know a person and fall in love. I feel that it is attraction from both sides and not love. Gautam is better as a friend than as a boyfriend. His focus on Soundarya is harming his game.”
