Ladies, here’s some big news coming from the television industry. TV hottie Gautam Rode, who is best known for his hit telly show Saraswatichandra, is now engaged! Yes, you heard it right! The TV hottie broke billions of hearts when he announced his engagement to former co-star Pankhuri Awasthy. The lovely duo had been together for a long while but had always kept their relationship under wraps. There even were speculations of their engagement around Diwali but things got clearer when Gautam himself confirmed it in an interview with the Bombay Times. He shared, “Yes, Pankhuri and I recently got engaged and I feel lucky to have found a life partner like her. We share the same wavelength and she has fit into my family perfectly.”
Pankhuri Awasthy, who we all saw in Razia Sultan, is equally delighted and was ecstatic about the good news, “We have taken the first step. The families have wholeheartedly welcomed our union. In Gautam, I have found the answer to all my dreams. I’m eagerly looking forward to the most important phase of my life.”
So when do we get to hear the wedding bells? Well, right now Gautam is focusing on promoting his upcoming film Aksar 2 and is looking to get married sometime next year.
