We often talk about self-care and self-worth but when it comes to love, we tend to forget all about ourselves. Often, women tend to devalue themselves and forget all about self-respect when in love. We’ve heard many people talk about holding your head high and valuing yourself. And now, Gauahar Khan took to Instagram to inspire girls to never devalue themselves in love.
Gauahar Khan recently posted a lip-sync video of Beth McCarthy’s cover of Taylor Swift’s song Love Story. She took this opportunity to urge women to value themselves in love and wait until they find someone who treats them like a queen. “This is for every girl who doesn’t value herself. Until u find someone who treats u like a royal queen, treat urself better. Alhamdulillah, I found my king. I wish for true love for all you lovelies,” read her caption. Take a look.
As always, Gauahar’s husband Zaid Darbar took showered the actress with love in the comments section.”You are the perfect person I’ve met! The perfect wife, daughter, sister, friend, will be the perfect mother too Inshallah!” said Zaid in the comments
In December 2020, Gauahar tied the knot with Zaid following a whirlwind romance. Ever since then, the two indulge in some social media PDA every now and then. Speaking to a leading daily about her sudden wedding, the Bigg Boss 7 winner had revealed that she did not have a courtship period with Zaid as they hit it off immediately after they met. She shared that Zaid had never thought that he would propose to someone and marriage was never on his mind either. She further added that the proposal was unplanned and it happened just a month after the two met but she had no second thoughts.
“I was averse to the idea of being with anyone when I met him. Yet, I felt this was something different because I had never met someone like him. I felt this is my kind of human being. He is like me in many ways in thoughts, behavior, history, and characteristics. So, I knew we would have a great friendship,” said Gauahar.
On the work front, Gauahar was last seen in the controversial Amazon Prime series Tandav alongside Saif Ali Khan.
