Shakun Batra’s upcoming movie, Gehraiyaan, is creating major buzz on social media for all the right reasons. The trailer dropped on January 20 and we’re sure that the film would take us on an emotional rollercoaster ride. Ananya Panday, Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Dhairya Karwa look absolutely fab in the leading roles. Their on-screen chemistry looks amazing and it turns out that their off-screen rapport is on point as well.
The cast of Gehraiyaan was recently spotted promoting their movie together and during an interview, they played a quick Rapid Fire round. They answered some interesting questions and we are loving the beans they spilled. Did you know that DP once hosted a PJ party for her co-stars and director at her house? Yes, she did! That’s how they bonded in the first place and learned more about each other.
The team of Gehraiyaan was asked who’s the most romantic of them all and guess what? They all unanimously pointed at Sid. Shakun said that one needs to read the actor’s captions on his social media handle to know that he’s a lover boy. “You just have to look at the notes on his Instagram profile. You won’t need to ask that question then,” he said.
Interestingly, none of them believed that they’re experts at giving relationship advice and would go to Karan Johar for it. We’re sure that the producer of the movie will have amazing dating tips to share and we wonder if he has given it to any of them already.
In the end, they were asked who among them were most likely to have their own reality show. No guesses there, all of them took Ananya’s name. Shakun even hinted that her show might be in pipeline because her mother had already impressed us all in the reality series, Fabulous Lives Of The Bollywood Wives. Interestingly, the actress did not deny it and said, “Honestly, sometimes you do this in life when you just talk as if there’s a camera around you. Do you guys do that? In the middle of a conversation, I’ll just turn to the right as if there’s a camera right there.”
Siddhant chimed in and said, “Guys watch out for Keeping up with the Pandays.” Honestly, we would love that! Ananya called herself an entertainer and Deepika jokingly added that she should call the team of Gehraiyaan for the promotion of her projects. “Call us for promotions please. We’ll come to promote our movies.”
We have to say, we are loving the friendship between the co-stars here. Also, we cannot wait to watch the movie on February 11 on Amazon Prime now.
