Puneet Superstar has been eliminated from Bigg Boss OTT 2 within 12 hours of entering the house and his fans are not having it. The social media content creator was voted out by the housemates after he created a scene in the house. Here’s everything you need to know about the drama:
Why Did Puneet Superstar Get Eliminated?
This season, Bigg Boss makers introduced the contestants days before the show’s premiere. The audience was then asked to vote for the contestants and rank them. As per this voting system, Puneet Superstar ended up in the second spot on the contestant list. It was obvious that he was a clear favourite but makers had other plans. They got their own panel of judges to assess the contestants and change the rankings accordingly. These judges ended up putting Puneet on the 10th spot which did not sit well with him. He didn’t even get a bed inside the house.

Puneet thus started with his antics and emptied two full tubes of toothpaste and a bottle of handwash. He even refused to apologise to Bigg Boss and demanded the makers restore his ranking. This is when Bigg Boss gave him a final warning but Puneet didn’t pay any heed and continued speaking against the show. In the end, Bigg Boss asked the housemates to vote if they were ready to stay with Puneet in the same house and most of them voted against the content creator. He was consequently eliminated from the house.

As insufferable as Puneet might have appeared in last night’s episode, we have to accept that the makers did him dirty. Why were the viewers even asked to pre-vote for the contestants when the makers already had their own ranking in mind? The only mistake that Puneet did? He decided to retaliate to the makers’ disrespect by being equally disrespectful. Now, the question is—will the makers be able to churn out a hit season after Puneet’s unceremonious elimination?
