Shaadi by Marriott Bonvoy will probably be the biggest sangeet-inspired event of 2023! Some of the hottest B-town celebs showed up at the bash dressed to the nines. Meanwhile, others made their way to an award function and simply dazzled me.
While some made my head turn with their glamm looks at the recent fashion outings, a few made me snooze.

Looks I Loved
Sonam Kapoor – Queen Of Being Extra
Sonam stunned in an Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla anarkali paired with a white and black embroidered jacket at . From her neat hairdo to chunky silver ear cuffs and bangles from Amrapali, I love everything about this look! Styled by sister Rhea Kapoor, Sonam never fails to impress us with her glamm outfits.
Kiara Advani – Desi Girl FTW
Kiara Advani attended an event in Mumbai in a stunning yellow saree. She made a strong case for embellished sarees with this attire. Everything about Kiara’s look was subtle yet glamm!
Shilpa Shetty – Apsara Aali
Chura ke dil meraaa, Shilpa chali! Can we just declare Shilpa the queen of pulling off unconventional drapes? At the bash, the actress wore a sequin blouse with a white drape that was styled like a saree. Her wavy locks added chaar chaand to her lewk!
Elli AvrRam – Brighter Than The Sun
In the sea of muted colours, Elli AvrRam’s yellow lehenga got my attention for sure! I would love to wear an outfit like this for a friend’s sangeet. The colour, the flare and the shimmer are on point and I am impressed.
Looks I Didn’t Love So Much!
Huma Qureshi – A Little Too Extra
So much is happening in Huma’s outfit designed by Namita Alexander, but nothing is working out. While I love the colour on her, the fit is just not okay. The saree-like drape, the slit effect, the extra af gloves, everything is all over the place in this outfit.
Daisy Shah – Why So Basic?
I have seen Daisy in some incredible looks but this one was a big miss! No one would go to a sangeet dressed in regular denims and blazer. It’s clear that Daisy made no effort. Even that smile looks a bit forced to me!
Anita Hassanandani – Nope!
Telly star Anita’s fashion pick left me underwhelmed for sure! It is a pretty outfit and it might have worked for you darling only if you added some statement jewellery.
Bhumi Pednekar – Maybe, Go A Little Less?
Bhumi’s outfit is the definition of too much of a good thing! While I love white on Bhumi, the cape isn’t working for me. I would have loved this outfit sans the cape and that OTT choker.
Kriti Sanon – Too Thanda
Honestly, I loved Kriti’s saree but that’s all there was to the look at. The full-sleeves blouse, a dull hair do and not-so-glamm makeup, nothing in this look is working in her favour.
As someone on a hunt for show-stopping looks, I was impressed by some of the looks at Bollywood’s recent glamm outings.
