5 Celeb-Approved Face Yogas For A Snatched Jawline

From Ananya to Anushka, I’ve been noticing my favourite celebs flaunt their oh-so-perfect jawlines on IG. I mean, yeah, they could slit a throat. But I’m sure the sculpt and definition aren’t purely genetic. They’re definitely working for it, and I think I know how.

Enter: face yoga. I’ve put together 5 of the best face yoga exercises that promise you a sculpted, snatched jawline over time. Scroll on!

Air Kiss

This is relatively simple to perform. Look upwards. Pout your lips — as though you’re posing for a selfie. Hold the pout for about 20 seconds. Release the position and smile. Do so in a way that you feel some amount of pressure at the ends of the lips. Repeat this 20 times. This will stretch the muscles in your neck, tone your jawline, and tackle fine lines around the mouth.

Tongue Stretch

Inhale deeply and hold your breath for a few seconds. Tilt your neck backwards, exhale, and push your tongue out toward your chin as far as possible. Hold this position for 10 seconds before tilting your head back. Repeat this 4 or 5 times every day. This exercise sculpts the jaw by activating your facial muscles.

Fish Face

Don’t mistake this for a pout. Just suck your cheeks and lips in and try smiling. Hold it for about 5 seconds before releasing it. Repeat the exercise 15-20 times per day. This one’s a double-chin exercise and eliminates sagginess on the face. It can also lift your cheekbones.

Neck Tilt

Turn your head to the left and tilt your neck backwards. Stay in that position for 7 seconds. But ensure the rest of your body is not moving while you’re at it. Return to the centre and turn your head to the right this time. Repeat the process and return to the centre. Do this about 5 times, and you’re good.

Inverted Tongue

Roll your tongue in toward the back of your throat. Push it up against the roof of the mouth and look up. This will stretch your neck. Push your tongue harder against the roof to feel the stretch. Shut your eyes before releasing and returning to your original position. Repeat 4 or 5 times to get that snatched jawline.
