TV Actress Erica Fernandes Opens Up About Her Struggle With Dyslexia

In December 2022, Erica Fernandes shared she was shifting her base to Dubai. This was a major shocker for her fans who were expecting to see more of the actress on TV and the big screen. However, looks like Erica has some more revelations to make. In fact, she just made a rather jolting one!

Erica opened up about a childhood struggle in a recent podcast for Mashable Middle East. During the chat, the actress was asked if she was a good student in school. She replied, I am dyslexic. Everything that was on the board used to dance. It’s still now. Sometimes, when I look at words, I feel like it will spell right but I keep wondering why it doesn’t look right. There’s something wrong about this.”

The Kasautii Zindagii Kay star added, “I am a virtual learner. I observe a lot. That’s the reason why I don’t read much. But I can hear and watch something and learn. I was not into studies a lot. I used to sit 1-2 days before the exam and that’s when I used to study. I was an average student and in school I would be within 10.”
