The show has got a nod in the Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program category and TBH, we have mixed feelings about it. Was the show good? Debatable. Was it relatable? To a great extent, yes. Did we watch it anyway? Yep, defs did.
Well, this year, the award show has startled a lot of people worldwide with its snubs and surprises. While we were ecstatic to see certain series that we were rooting for on the list, a few were major bummers. But, to decide on which is which, is a topic reserved for some other day. RN, we have some terrific (and cringe) shows that you can watch (and re-watch) because you never know, they might win an Emmy later!

FRIENDS Reunion
If you have not watched it yet, then it is your cue to watch it now. FREINDS: The Reunion has been nominated for the Outstanding Pre-Recorded Variety Special category. It features its six main leads—David Schwimmer, Courteney Cox, Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, and Mathew Perry. And, they take you on an emotional journey of around two hours (also a lifetime) by talking about their fond memories from the show. Honestly, you need to watch this one to experience it in real.

Just like their movies, Marvel Studios’ web series revolves around their superheroes and TBH, it’s a treat to watch them. WandaVision is about a newlywed couple, Wanda and Vision, who have moved to a friendly neighbourhood of Westview. Wait, where is Westview? Never heard of it. That’s because it doesn’t exist. But only, it does. In different years, on different frequencies, and in different worlds.
Actors Paul Bettany and Elizabeth Olsen are nominated for the Outstanding Lead Actor and Actress in a Limited Series or Movie. And gotta say, we’re rooting for them to win!

From the costumes to the actors wearing them, everything about this periodic drama will remind you of classic novels. But only, way more dramatic and steamier. It has Regé-Jean Page in the lead after all, who is also nominated for the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series category. The show has been nominated for the Outstanding Drama Series and NGL, it will defs get tough competition from other series on the list.

Emily In Paris
Surprised? We have to say, we are as well. But, it seems that Emily Cooper (played by Lily Collins) has impressed the members of the Emmys. As a result, the show has been nominated for the Outstanding Comedy Series category. It’s about a young American girl who moves to Paris for a job opportunity and is trying to cope up with the cultural differences.

The Mandalorian
The show has been nominated for the Outstanding Drama Series category and TBH, we are not surprised. It’s from the Star Wars franchise after all. Also, it has baby Yoda who’s adorable! The show is set after the OG movie trilogy and before its recent sequel trilogy. To put it simply, it’s awesome. It is about a resistance spy who is tracking the activities that will take place in the movie The Force Awakens.

The Boys
What if superheroes are not the good guys? What will happen if that insane amount of power is handed over to a bunch of undeserving folks? Disaster. That’s exactly what The Boys is all about. The show has been nominated for the Outstanding Drama Series category.

The show revolves around the life of Queen Elizabeth II. And, it will leave you surprised with all the revelations it has made about the British royal family. It has been nominated for the Outstanding Drama Series.

RuPaul’s Drag Race, which features the most stunning drag queens, is the one show that you just cannot miss. It’s upbeat, dramatic, and will give you some major fashion inspo. Host RuPaul has been nominated for the Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality-Competition Program category. And, he’s going to get some tough competition from Queer Eye’s hosts who are nominated in the same field. We’re talking about Antoni Porowski, Tan France, Karamo Brown, Bobby Berk and Jonathan Van Ness. You can watch this show if you want some great fashion tips from gay experts.

It’s always a pleasure to watch Kate Winslet perform on-screen. And, she doesn’t disappoint us in Mare of Easttown where she plays the role of a detective, investigating a gruesome murder. This nail-biting drama will keep you on the edge and has been rightly nominated for the Outstanding Limited Series category.

Queen’s Gambit
A powerful show about a young woman who’s a chess prodigy. She breaks stereotypes, sets examples and also inspires you to learn how to play chess. NGL, I started playing it again after watching this one. The show is nominated for the Outstanding Limited Series. And we gotta say, even if you’re not into the sport, watch it for Anya Taylor-Joy’s amazing acting.
