Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 is finally set to premiere on 25th September and has been creating a lot of buzz lately. And well, Ekta Kapoor is leaving no stone unturned in promoting the TV show. This time Ekta took the promotions to another level as she roped in the actors to do the promotions in ten cities in India. Mumbai, Delhi and Nashik were also amongst the ten cities, where Ekta presented the statues of Anurag and Prerna covered in a red dupatta.
The new stars of the show were extremely excited as they headed out to different cities for promotions. As for the old cast, well the original Prerna in particular, Shweta Tiwari who had claimed that her daughter, Palak was called for the role of Prerna in the sequel. To which Ekta Kapoor replied, “Aaah reaaaaaly?????????? How come I don’t know.”
Though, the actress recently cleared the confusion and said that it was not Ekta who offered her daughter a role but someone from Balaji Films asked her if she would let Palak, her daughter be a part of the show. If they let her play Prerna, to which her daughter said ‘No’.
