I was stoked when Eijaz Khan entered the Bigg Boss 14 house, blame all the Kavyanjali nostalgia! I was really, really excited to see his Bigg Boss inning and was almost sure that he is gonna win over everyone with his charm. Sadly, the reality has turned out to be as far as it can get. I have been closely observing Eijaz since Day 1, eagerly waiting for him to emerge as the hero of Bigg Boss 14 house. However, all that I have seen is scary aggression, unnecessary attitude, and the kind of thick-headedness that reminds me of Sidharth Shukla in the worst way possible.
To put long things short, we kinda suspect that Eijaz is trying to be the Sidharth Shukla of Bigg Boss 14. Don’t agree with us? We come bearing some very strong arguments to prove our point. Read on:
The ‘Mujhe Kisi Se Koi Farak Nahi Padta’ Mode!
Okay, this is legit something that Sidharth Shukla was heard saying in the Bigg Boss 13 house. And Eijaz entered the BB house with pretty much the same attitude with ‘Main Aisa Hi Hoon’ being his favourite catchphrase. However, it was hard to draw similarities in the very beginning given that he appeared softer in attitude than Sidharth. However, his prolonged tussle with Pavitra Punia has proven that he is no different and almost as vindictive as the season 13 winner.
Okay, we understand that he got mad with Pavitra for nominating him. But then again, this is the same man who legit shaved part of her head in a task and she took it in the best spirit possible. Also, even after nominating him, Pavitra went to him and apologised, profusely. And given that the two have been friends, it was really weird to see Eijaz throwing all of that away and telling Hina that he doesn’t give a damn and while she might consider him as her friend, it’s not the same with him. In fact, that’s been his equation with almost everyone in the house and Rubina and Jasmin have also talked about how they used to share a good bond with him just before he suddenly changed and turned on his angry man mode.

All That Aggression
While Eijaz looked all quiet and calm in the first week of Bigg Boss 13, he took a sharp 180 in the second one and revealed his aggressive side. Just last week, Jasmin Bhasin raised how she felt “physically intimidated” by Eijaz during a task after he came really close to her face. In fact, Eijaz accepted that but sans an iota of apology and called it a “psychological tactic” to get her out of the task.
“Toh agar yeh unka game tactic bhi tha, yeh unki personality ka woh roop dikhata hai ki woh game mein ek aurat ko physically intimidate kar denge, woh line cross kar denge jahaan a woman would get uncomfortable (Even if it was a tactic for the game, it shows his personality that he would physically intimidate a woman for the sake of a game and cross a line to make her feel uncomfortable),” Jasmin said in response and we totally agree with her. Also, this definitely reminds us of Sidharth Shukla going all aggressive in tasks, something that he could be seen doing in this season as well as a “Senior” in the BB house.
Unnecessary Fights
In the first “Weekend ka Vaar,” when Salman asked Eijaz to stop being so ‘soft in the house’ he reacted to it then and there and launched an instant attack on Jasmin. Sadly, the reason was as ludicrous as it could get. He legit called out Jasmin for not crediting him for her dress that she could get after Eijaz and a couple of housemates gave up on their belongings. I mean, is that a point strong enough to make aggressive mudda on? Well, Sidharth Shukla will agree.

The Way He Baby Coddles Nikki
Since Day 1 in the Bigg Boss house, Eijaz has had a soft corner for Nikki. Seniors Hina Khan and Sidharth Shukla have observed it and commented on it too. And even though there are moments when he gets mad at her in front of the housemates, he always finds a moment to joke about it with her later. Kinda reminds us of Sid baby coddling a certain housemate from season 13. Any guesses, who?
All The ‘Technical’ Talk
Back in season Bigg Boss 13, Sidharth engaged in a lot of unnecessary fights just because he was fixated on his ‘logic’ in a number of situations. Eijaz was seen doing the exact same in last night’s episode where he got into a really ugly fight with Pavitra, who by the way was no less. That said, Eijaz kept screaming his throat out, came really, really close to Pavitra’s face, and didn’t stop before she finally gave in. Quite on brand for someone who is trying to be the Sidharth Shukla of Bigg Boss 14 if you ask us!
