For Bigg Boss 15 viewers, the highlight of last night’s episode was when Karan Kundrra ended up lifting Tejasswi Prakash during a task. A proper Bollywood movie moment, it had fans cheering for #TejRan and, of course, asking for more. However, besides all the #TejRan shippers, there are also those who are highly skeptical of Karan-Tejasswi’s bond and are convinced that it has been concocted by Bigg Boss makers for TRP. Now, while we would have brushed aside all these claims given our obsession with #TejRan at the moment, we just watched a Donal Bisht interview that has us rethinking.
Those following the show might be aware that Donal was evicted from the show two weeks ago in a rather unfair elimination where the housemates voted her out instead of the audience. Well, now that the actress is out of the house, she isn’t holding back in expressing her opinions. Donal opened up about the show and in a recent interaction with VJ Andy, she has hinted that the show can very well be scripted with the makers favouring a select few.
During the interaction, Andy also quizzed her about the entire #TejRan scene by questing their sudden bond. “Ab #TejRan #Tejran bahut ho raha hai. In fact, pehle hastag chala tha and then badme kuch bana. Kya andar message diya tha? Kya kisi ko bola tha jaake ander #TejRan ka message do? (Everyone is discussing #TejRan right now. In fact, the hashtag was created even before something actually started between the two. Did someone send a message to them? Did someone ask #TejRan to do this?),” he asked.
Donal very smartly handled the question by saying that some of the contestants were indeed being constantly called to the confession room. She thus hinted that this could have been part of the preparations to push the #TejRan angle. The actress explained “Teen chaar contestants ko andar confession room mein bulate the. Karan ko bhi bulaya hai, Jay ko bhi bulaya hai, Akasa ko bhi bulaya hai, Simba ko bulaya hai. Ye toh mere saamne saamne bulaya hai baaki aur mujhe pata nahi. Aur jab hum logo ne pucha kyun bulaya hai toh they were like some personal things. (They often used to call 3-4 contestants inside the confession room. Karan, Jay, Akasa, and Simba were the regular ones to be called. Rest, I don’t know. However, when we used to ask them about what had happened in the confession room, they would simply say that it was for some personal things.)”
She further added that Karan was looking particularly upset after coming from the confession room one day and was lost in his own thoughts. She even reached out to him and asked if there was something that he wanted to discuss but he avoided the conversation. Well, if any of what Donal has been claiming is actually true then it is a huge disappointment for everyone who has been diligently following the show. Pushing a fake love angle just to gain TRP sounds like a huge low even by Bigg Boss standards. Seriously, it’d be kinda nice if the makers could keep the “reality” show a little real. So disappointing!
