Divyanka Opens Up About Being A Part Of Bigg Boss & We Totes Didn’t See This Coming

The past two years have been a whirlwind for Divyanka Tripathi. After Ye Hai Mohabbatein, the actress was seen in the rom-com web series—Coldd Lassi Aur Chicken Masala with Rajeev Khandelwal. After that, she took off to Cape Town to shoot for Khatron Ke Khiladi 11. If that isn’t an impressive career graph, then we don’t know what is. Now that she’s back after wrapping up the shoot, talks of her being approached by multiple TV shows are doing the rounds. One of them being Bigg Boss 15.

Rumour mills have been abuzz that Divyanka Tripathi and her husband Vivek Tripathi are all set to participate in the next season of Bigg Boss. However, Vivek had recently cleared the air and said that they were not interested in participating in the reality show. He said, “We are not cut out for Bigg Boss. Hum masala nahi dey payenge.”

And now, Divyanka has opened up on why she wouldn’t want to be a part of Bigg Boss. Talking to a leading daily, she said, “I don’t know if I will ever do Bigg Boss. The show scares me a little. I am an introvert, so on top of it staying away from home and my husband Vivek all these thoughts scares me and I find it difficult. So this is the phobia I have.” She also added that she finds it difficult to stay away from her family for long.

Divyanka also opened up on experimenting with different roles post KKK. She said,”Now, all thanks to Khatron Ke Khiladi, people will start imagining me in different avatars. They will now start thinking of me in different avatars, something I haven’t tried before. I am actually waiting for it. Now I want to see myself in a very different light. Now, I want to do my own stunts and don’t want a body double to perform it for me.” She also added that she wants to do action-oriented roles like playing a cop or an army officer. She said, “The makers find my face very innocent but there’s a lot of strength behind this face and I want to portray that strength onscreen.”
