Social media can be a dark place full of bullies, and no one understands it better than Divya Agarwal. The Bigg Boss OTT winner has been subjected to merciless trolling simply for living her life. Following her breakup with Varun Sood, social media trolls called her a ‘gold digger.’

It all started when Varun’s sister Akshita shared tweeted that Divya had not returned their ancestral jewellery after the breakup. Later, she deleted the tweet. But Divya didn’t take things lying down. She shared a tweet talking about Varun’s ancestral jewellery. Scroll down to take a look:

Divya Slams Trolls For Calling Her A ‘Gold Digger’

During a conversation with a leading daily, Divya opened up on being tagged as a ‘gold digger’. She said, “I have won reality shows and have been a part of three web shows, I am an independent girl. Also, can’t a woman want a partner who is also settled in his career? Is that being a gold digger? If I was a gold digger, I would not have worked hard and built a career, I would have found a rich guy and settled down.”

Ever since the breakup, Divya has been on the receiving end of vicious troll attacks. Varun’s fans accused her of being a clout chaser. Last month, Divya shut down the trolls for making comments about her father and how he got her to breakup with Varun. She tweeted, “You know people ? Enough of it.. dragging my father into this trolling for what ?? No I don’t want this.. it’s not funny not peaceful for me.. I don’t feel right about it.”

Not even once, Divya has shied away from telling her truth. So why dig up the past and bother her with unsolicited opinions? Dear trolls, think twice before you mess with a headstrong woman! She has moved on and so should you!

You go, girl!
