We’ve been rooting for Divya Agarwal and Varun Sood ever since we saw them fall in love on the reality show, MTV Ace Of Space. In 2018, the two were both left heartbroken by their exes and a few months later in October, they entered the show holding hands and promised to never leave each other’s hand. Soon after, Varun confessed his love for her on national television and Divya accepted. The lovebirds have been practically inseparable ever since. If you happen to ship them too, we’ve got a heartbreaking update to share.
Unfortunately, the couple has called it quits after dating for four years. Divya just took to the ‘gram to write, “Life is such a circus! Try n keep everyone happy, expect nothing that’s true but what happens when the self-love starts declining ?? No, I don’t blame anyone for anything that’s happening to me. I feel worked up .. and that’s okay .. I want to breathe n live for myself .. that’s okay ! I hereby formally declare that I’m on my own in this life and would like to take my time to live the way I want to !”
She further stated that she’s on her own in life and would like to live the way she wants to. “No, it’s not always necessary to have big statements, excuses and reasons for a decision. It’s just my choice to step out of it. I really value and love all the happy moments I spent with him. He’s a great guy! He will always be my best friend ❤️. Please respect my decision,” she explained. Check out her post here:
BRB, we need a moment to wrap our heads around this breakup! A few months ago, during an interview, Divya had opened up about their shaadi plans. She’d shared that since marriage is a big responsibility, they were taking their time to figure things out. “We have not taken any such decision as of now but whenever it will happen dhanke ki chot pe hoga (openly) and everybody will be happy with it,” she said.
We’re sure this must be a difficult time for the couple so we hope that they’re doing fine. Here’s wishing both Varun and Divya all the best for their future.
