Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim who got married in a private wedding ceremony in Bhopal on February 22nd, are on cloud nine. Not just because they’re finally man and wife and can start living the life of their dreams, but also because they are receiving so much love post their wedding.
After the intimate wedding ceremony, when the newlyweds returned to Shoaib’s family home, their relatives, friends and family had decorated the streets with garlands and showered them with rose petals for their grand welcome. And not just that, they welcomed the newlyweds into the house and their hearts in a way that is so endearing to watch. Here are some pictures and videos:
Dipika wore a beautiful golden embroidered lehenga and Shoaib opted for a sherwani with a floral shawl. They looked every inch like a royal couple. And the happiness is just dripping off their faces!
The couple also played some post-wedding games and can be seen having a lot of fun! Dipika won the traditional ‘find the ring’ game and was clearly happy about it! Here’s the video:
Also, the Sasural Simar Ka actress converted to Islam and changed her name to Faiza Ibrahim. According to some sources, it was Shoaib’s parents’ wish that Dipika take up their religion post the wedding, and the pretty actress readily agreed. There’s no doubt about the fact that Dipika (now Faiza) adores her husband’s family just as much she loves her own.
The celebrity couple are all set to host a grand wedding reception in Mumbai for all their industry friends on 26th February 2018! We’re really excited to see their pictures!
