Uorfi Javed is one of those celebs who came out of nowhere and took over the world. You can’t go a day without hearing about her unique take on fashion. But all this success doesn’t mean she is immune to impolite comments and insults. Recently, Uorfi talked about being treated badly by a Bollywood biggie and it is heartbreaking.
During a podcast with Ranveer Allahbadia aka Beerbiceps, Uorfi talked about how it has been for her to be rubbing shoulders with Bollywood’s A-listers.
“People here don’t accept me. Kuch se toh mili hu. Kuch acche hote hain kuch rude ho jaate hain (Some are good, some are rude).” She spoke about a ‘leading actress’ who gets bashed a lot for her lewks on Instagram fashion police page Diet Sabya. It all happened when Uorfi tried to compliment her look at a Bollywood function. The Bigg Boss star said, “I said, ‘Diet Sabya toh bohut khush hoga (Diet Sabya would be happy)’ and I said it in a good way. Then she was just like ‘I don’t care about him’. I said arrey but mai aapki tareef kar rahi hu(But I was praising you). I don’t mean any disrespect. And there were a lot of people there.” Scroll down to hear what Uorfi had to say:
This snippet from the podcast made its way to Reddit and many pointed out that the actress in question was Kriti Sanon. Many people sided with Kriti in the comments. One user pointed out that Uorfi shouldn’t have bought up Diet Sabya when she knew her Instagram account constantly attacks Kriti. “Kriti’s response clearly means that she is indeed affected by whatever goes on on Diet Sabya’s insta…and any ways we should always keep in mind that we don’t know how someone feels on something…just because kriti is on a higher level than Uorfi doesn’t mean she can’t have a trigger about something,” reads another comment.
