Pretty much everyone can agree to the fact that we all make mistakes in life, be it in the professional world or personal. So, whenever, a celeb confesses to slipping up in front of their fans, it makes us all feel less alone. Back in 2018, Eijaz Khan confessed on national TV that he cheated in a relationship.
Right after that, the rumour mills went on overdrive and many claimed that Eijaz was talking about his now-wife Anita Hassanandani. Recently, the actor put an end to these speculations and revealed that he was talking about someone else.
In an interview, Eijaz said, “At that time I said, I regretted that once I kind of ended up cheating on my girlfriend. I did not take a name. Now, let me clarify this, that lady (former girlfriend) is not a part of the industry. That lady is/was not or never will be a part of the public domain. So, I didn’t take her name.”
The actor added, “I don’t regret admitting my mistake on national television because that woman doesn’t belong to the industry. And, I am not that kind of a person who will take anyone else’s name because I want to have a kind of revelation on a public platform and show ‘Maine galti ki aur mai sudhaar raha hun‘. I will never do that by making anyone a crutch.”
NGL, it was brave on Eijaz’s part to confess to making a mistake on national television. It takes courage to talk about your mistakes in front of millions of people and put yourself in a vulnerable position.

Back in 2018, Eijaz made his way to Rajeev Khandelwal’s chat show JuzzBaat and talked about being unfaithful in a relationship. The actor broke down and said, “The one and only time jab maine kisi pe cheat kiya. Galti hui jo mere puri zindagi ka nichod nikal diya (The one and only time when I cheated on someone. It was a mistake that ruined my whole life)
ATM we just hope Eijaz never goes down that road ever again, ‘coz cheating is one of the worst things you can do in a relationship. We are rooting for him and Anita!
