We’re in the second month of 2021 and this year is turning out to be quite eventful, especially for the Bollywood celebs. This year started with Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal’s surprise shaadi. And even before we could get over our wedding hangover, actress Dia Mirza bowled us over. Yes, we’re talking about her intimate wedding with Mumbai-based businessman Vaibhav Rekhi. And no one saw it coming!
While social media continued to buzz with the news of the Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein actress’ wedding rumours, confirmation came when Dia shared her Mehendi pictures on her Instagram handle. And the oh-so-gorgeous photos of the bride-to-be really blew us away. We barely managed to clear our heads when Dia’s Dulhan look left us stunned. And hours after the wedding, we’re still fawning over her outfits and all the shaadi pictures and videos.
Several unseen photos and videos from Dia and Vaibhav’s beautiful marriage ceremony have flooded social media, including the varmala and the joota churai ceremony (courtesy Aditi Rao Hydari). In fact, Dia also took to Instagram to share some beautiful pictures from her phere with Vaibhav and we just can’t look away!
And Dia’s caption truly made our heart melt. “Love is a full-circle that we call home. And what a miracle it is to hear its knock, open the door and be found by it. Sharing this moment of completion and joy with you..my extended family. But we have to say, it was the glowing Bollywood bride’s entry that gave us goosebumps (the good kind). We just came across Dia’s bridal entry video and we just cannot stop hitting replay. Dressed in a radiant red Banarsi saree with zari work, Dia glammed up her look by pairing it with a traditional statement choker and maangtika. She wore her hair in a bun and accessorised it with a gajra. During her bridal entry and the ceremony, the actress covered her head with a plain red dupatta.
While we couldn’t take our eyes off her bright smile, her soft peachy makeup look really won us over! This Bollywood bride is totally standing out.
A video from the couple’s varmala ceremony also surfaced and we can see the love in their eyes! As we watched the blushing couple exchange the varmalas, it was Dia’s smile that caught our eye. Well, it seems like the actress just could not stop smiling. Don’t believe us? See for yourself.
