#PassTheBrushChallenge is a new trend that’s currently taking over the TikTok fam, with more than 24 million amazing videos (and counting) for you to watch!
For those of you who don’t know, Pass The Brush Challenge is where the user is ‘passes’ a makeup brush from one user to another. They use the brush to cover the camera lens and the next frame reveals their glam avatar! Then they ‘pass’ their brush to another person. This allows the users to make these mesmerizing videos on loop!
PS: What a fun way to keep us entertained through quarantine, right?
The *Desi Girls Challenge*
Now, think Pass the brush but with a desi tadka and you get the #DesiGirlsChallenge!
The only difference is that the brown girls are behind the brush, slaying it. Brown girls from all over the world are doing the challenge and we are in awe of their stunning transformations. Not just brown girls, the African community too, are embracing their rich heritage. The hashtag they’re using is called the #DontRushChallenge.

While tons of beauty influencers are doing this challenge, this video is hands down our favourite!
Plixxo influencer, Diipa Khosla couldn’t help herself but hop on this fun trend! She challenged her fellow beauty bloggers, Kaushal, Tamanna Roashan, Irene Khan, Sharifa Easmin, Arshia Moorjani, Nabela Noor, Farah Dhukai, Manal Shaik, Laiba, Deepica Mutyala and Radhi Devlukia-Shetty.
The desi girls can be seen embracing their bare faces and just being super cute and then the brush gets ‘passed’ to them. They whirl it around like a magic wand, cover the camera and voila, they are all glammed up! Then they show off their makeup looks and ‘pass’ their brush to the next candidate.
