Speculations about the alleged “rough patch” got further fueled when netizens noticed that Ranveer hadn’t liked his wife’s recent Instagram posts. Many said that it wasn’t normal because the actor always showered DP with compliments in her comment section every time she shared a picture. But it seems like we were all just overthinking! A video clip from the same event has now gone viral, proving that all’s well between the couple.
In the video, Deepika is seen reciting the iconic dialogue from her debut film, Om Shanti Om, “Agar tum kisi cheez ko sacche dil se chaaho toh puri kainaat tumhe usse milane ki koshish mein lag jaati hai.” (If you truly love something from your heart, the entire world conspires to make it yours.) To this, Ranveer replied, “Mujhse pucho. Iski guarantee de sakta hu main.” (Ask me about this. I can guarantee you this.)

Ranveer was obviously referring to his wife when he said that. He has always openly expressed his love for Deepika and still continues to do so. After watching this video, #DeepVeer fans are finally at peace (and so are we).
Even if Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone actually had a tiff or an argument before coming to the event that night, I am sure DP must’ve melted after this remark from her doting husband. Touchwood!
