On November 11, Debina Bonnerjee and Gurmeet Choudhary became parents for the second time. The couple took to Instagram and announced the arrival of their “miracle baby,” who was born only eight months after her sister. They also asked for some privacy since their baby arrived sooner than expected. Since then, fans have been eagerly waiting to hear more about the little one and have also been suggesting names for her. Well, guess what? The wait is over and Gurmeet and Debina have decided on a name for the little one.
On Tuesday evening, Gurmeet and Debina posted an adorable picture featuring their baby girl and announced that they have decided to name her Divisha. The picture was from a recent family vacation in Goa.
The Meaning Behind Their Daughter’s Name
Debina and Gurmeet also explained the significance of their daughter’s name in the caption. Divisha is a beautiful name that means “chief of all Goddesses” and is also a synonym for Goddess Durga.
Gurmeet & Debina’s First Daughter
The popular television couple welcomed their first daughter on April 3, 2022. They named her Lianna which means “Daughter of the Sun” and is a diminutive form of Eliana, which means “Jehovah is God” and means “to wrap around or bind”.
Debina’s Message To Her Second Daughter
Debina shared the a heartfelt message for her second daughter shortly after her birth. She wrote, “To my second child, you’re not my first, that much is true. I loved another before loving you. I’m a different mother this time around. More calm and confident I’ve found. Since you came, there’s a new dimension. Two children now want my attention. I was so excited first time around. This time I want to slow things down. Your ‘firsts’ will all be ‘lasts’ for me. Last crawl and last to ride my knee. You were not my firstborn this is true. But the last child I will have is you. You’re the last lullaby I’ll ever sing. And ‘last’ are a special kind of thing.”
