When it comes to a pre-wedding shoot, we love all things cute and mushy, and pictures that scream, ‘I love you’. But there is something really exciting about unconventional themes that couples opt for. Recently, pre-wedding pictures of a couple from the Philippines went viral. Why? Because they dressed up as Money Heist characters and recreated a few scenes from the popular show for their pre-wedding photoshoot. Yep, now beat that, can you?

Meet Andrew Rolio and Inez Jade Quial, who dressed up in red jumpsuits and wore Salvador Dalí masks while holding fake guns. They even threw paper money just like it was done in the show. The photos were wonderfully captured by photographer Hafid Caballes, who worked on every minute detail from Money Heist, and we must say that he did a brilliant job.
Reports suggest that Temple of Leah in Cebu City was chosen as the photoshoot location as it resembles the Royal Mint of Spain where the show was originally shot. Both Andrew and Inez come from healthcare backgrounds and the red jumpsuits reminded them of the healthcare workers fighting the deadly coronavirus. While Quial is a doctor in Cebu, Rolio is a critical care unit nurse based in London.

Andrew and Inez always wanted something creative and unusual for their pre-wedding photoshoot. Talking to a media portal, Andrew said, “I always wanted an out-of-this-world theme. I don’t really like the usual romantic dreamy vibes for a prenup shoot because I think that there will be more of that ‘theme’ during the actual wedding itself.”
“One day, while I was watching Netflix, an idea came to mind about having a Netflix-inspired prenup. And of all my favorite Netflix movies and series, Money Heist stood out,” he added.
The couple hired a professional team of 18 creatives, who were responsible for making a storyboard to ensure that the photos match up to the show as much as possible. Mentioning that he felt a little anxious regarding the photoshoot, Andrew said, “We didn’t know what to expect and whether or not the team will be able to direct us properly in order to pull off the theme. What started as anxiety turned into fun.”
