In Oct 2022, celebrity chef Sanjeev Kapoor’s daughter Rachita Kapoor got hitched to her longtime beau, Darren Dsilva. They had two beautiful weddings – an Indian and a white one. Now, a video from the wedding is doing the rounds on the internet where Sanjeev Kapoor can be seen getting emotional.
Well, it happened while Sanjeev Kapoor’s very close friend and singer, Shankar Mahadevan, sang Dilbaro, from the movie Razi, at the wedding. He dedicated the song to the father-daughter duo to depict their bond leaving them feeling emotional at the end.
Tales Of Two Weddings
Rachita Kapoor and Darren Dsilva tied the knot in Dubai, in 2022. They had a traditional Indian wedding as well as a Christain wedding. For the Hindu wedding, Rachita wore a traditional red lehenga from Nitika Gujral, which featured intricate gold work. She completed her look with kundan jewellery set and soft makeup. For her white wedding, Rachita wore a stunning white gown with a long veil featuring floral embroidery.
Darren on the other hand, wore an ivory sherwani for the Hindu wedding and a black two-piece with a red bow tie at his Christian wedding.
