Alia and Ranbir’s wedding was the most talked about wedding of 2022. While fans expected grand celebrations, the couple left everyone surprised by getting married on their balcony in April.
Alia took to Instagram after the wedding and wrote, “Today, surrounded by our family and friends, at home, in our favourite spot – the balcony we’ve spent the last 5 years of our relationship – we got married. With so much already behind us, we can’t wait to build more memories together… memories that are full of love, laughter, comfortable silences, movie nights, silly fights, wine delights and Chinese bites.” How beautiful!
Athiya Shetty & KL Rahul
Athiya and KL have always been low-key about their relationship! And they did the exact same with their shaadi. With a guestlist of just 70, the lovebirds got married in Suniel Shetty’s Khandala farmhouse. “Today, with our most loved ones, we got married in the home that’s given us immense joy and serenity. With a heart full of gratitude and love, we seek your blessings on this journey of togetherness,” Athiya captioned her wedding post.
Farhan Akhtar & Shibani Dandekar
After dating for four years, Farhan and Shibani broke the internet with their wedding pictures in February 2022. They decided to exchange wedding vows at Farhan’s Khandala farmhouse and were very particular about their privacy! The goofy pictures from the wedding proved that it was the best decision and the couple had a truckload of fun.

In 2021, Yami tied the knot with filmmaker Aditya Dhar in an intimate ceremony at her native house in Himachal Pradesh. The best part? She didn’t even shell big bucks on a designer outfit! On her D-day, the actress wore her mother’s saree, a gold nath, and a dupatta given by her grandmother. The guestlist was also limited to just 20 people. She didn’t even hire any makeup and hair artists and was dolled up by her sister Surilee instead!

Dia and Vaibhav’s hush hush wedding ceremony took place in the garden of her Bandra residence and was iconic for so many reasons. The couple had sustainable celebrations without any plastic waste. They also called a priestess to conduct the rituals!
