Black is always in, even if it’s summer. You won’t catch me trading in the colour for pinks, oranges, and purples even for my glamm. The cat-eye flicks remain black and the kohl stays bold.
And, this time around, it seems like my favourite Bollywood celebs agree with me. Because they’re choosing black eye makeup looks over and over again. And, let me tell you, they’re so easy to recreate. Here’s proof.
Feline Flicks
Khushi and Sonakshi winged it but in two very different ways. While Kapoor’s cat-eye flicks were basic, Sonakshi’s look displayed just the outline of a wing. For drama and effect, you can go for the latter.
I use the MyGlamm LIT Glossy Liquid Eyeliner in the shade Black Party to achieve the look.
Reverse Eyeliner
Bhumi Pednekar’s love affair with reverse cat-eye flicks lives on. The result is an edgy, seductive under-eye that adds a little something to the look. Just line your lower lash line with kohl before extending it into flicks at the end. I promise it’s much easier to recreate than normal cat-eye flicks.
Kohl Rimmed Eyes
Kareena has always been a fan of kohl-rimmed eyes. Kriti, too, debuted the look recently. You can choose to line your upper lids with kohl as well, like Kriti has, or let them be, like Bebo’s.

Smokey Eyes
Kareena, Alia, and Maanvi recently sported smokey, sultry lids that displayed pops of black. The look was light and easy, and they simply teased the outer corners with some of the colour.
Alia’s under-eye modeled a feather-light touch of black as well. See? Black doesn’t always mean intense and dark. Smokey eyes FTW.
I know I’m recreating these looks ASAP.
