Unarguably Brahmāstra Part One: Shiva was one of the most talked about films of 2022. While the film wasn’t without flaws, it managed to make a grand impression. For the longest time. I was waiting for an update about Brahmāstra’s next part and finally, I have the deets. Filmmaker Ayan Mukerji took to the ‘Gram to announce the trilogy’s second and third parts.
It turns out Alia Bhatt aka Isha and Ranbir Kapoor as Shiva have a long journey ahead. The magnum opus will continue with Brahmāstra Part Two: Dev and Brahmāstra Part: Three. The two films are all set to hit the big screen in December 2026 and 2027. Scroll down for the announcement:
The most interesting part of the announcement was Ayan acknowledging the feedback he got on the first film. The filmmaker mentioned that he is taking up the suggestions and making improvements in the next two parts.
What All Will Change In Brahmāstra Series?
In an earlier interview, Ayan admitted that there are a few things that he will change in the sequel. He said “I have heard stuff like the dialogues did not really work as well, people weren’t 100 per cent convinced about the love story. I am trying to be sure that the right feedback reaches me so I can learn from that for the future.” That’s the mark of a great filmmaker!
It is delightful to see that Ayan took the feedback in a positive way. I am excited to see the magic that unfolds in Brahmāstra Part Two: Dev and Brahmāstra Part: Three.
