The long wait has finally come to an end as Bigg Boss 16 started airing on Saturday. This time, the circus-themed house is filled with a wild assortment of contestants, and we’re so excited! On the first day itself, the Bigg Boss contestants managed to create a whole lot of drama, fights, and controversies. Now, based on the preview of episode three, looks like we may also see a love story blossoming on the show.
Ankit Gupta & Priyanka Chahar Choudhary’s Relationship
In the preview, housemates are seen asking Ankit Gupta about his equation with co-star, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary. While Ankit specifies he does not see a future with her and is very clear about his feelings, he also admits that Priyanka has a soft spot for him.
For the unversed, Ankit and Priyanka are known for their roles in Colors TV’s Udaariyaan. The serial is popular for the duo’s crackling chemistry. After witnessing Ankit and Priyanka’s chemistry in reel life, fans suspect they are romantically involved off-screen as well. The duo entered the Bigg Boss 16 house with a romantic dance performance which has only added to these rumours.
Are Ankit Gupta & Priyanka Choudhary Dating?
Although fans would love to see this jodi fall in love off-screen as well, Ankit and Priyanka aren’t dating. In an interview before entering the Bigg Boss 16 house, Priyanka said that Ankit is a great friend and she feels blessed to have a co-actor like him. She also revealed that he always motivates her to give her best.
She added, “Fans often link us up but honestly, there’s nothing like that between us. We work together and spend most of the time together but that doesn’t mean that we’re dating. I share a very nice vibe with Ankit and would want it that way. Fans linking us up only makes us feel happy and blessed to receive their love for on-screen characters as well as for our off-screen camaraderie.”
While Priyanka’s statement may have left #PriyanKkit fans heartbroken, one can never lose hope. After all, love is always in the air in the BB house. Plus, there’s been no season without a love story. So let’s manifest one on Bigg Boss 16 as well. Shall we?
