Born on 15 November 1982, since childhood Shaleen has had a deep interest in films and acting. He rose to fame for his portrayal of ‘Keshav’ in the popular TV show Naagin. Besides this, he was also known for his stints in shows like MTV Roadies, Nach Baliye, and Saat Phere: Saloni Ka Safar. A lesser known fact is that Shaleen has also dipped his feet in Bollywood. You can spot him in the movies like Pyare Mohan, Devdoot, Love ke Fundey, and Chal Jhutey. Though he was MIA for a while, the actor is now all set to create his mark in the BB house.

Shalin was born in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, into a middle-class family. He was later married to Dalljiet Kaur, who he met on the TV series, Kulvadhu. He also has a son with her, named Jayden.
