While Salman Khan calls Tina out on playing the love card with Shalin since the beginning of Bigg Boss 16, episode 98 wasn’t dramatic enough for your liking, because day 98 will definitely keep you on the edge of your seat. You must have seen hell unleash on some of ’em in the promo of Day 98, where all the contestants discuss the various fights that happened over the week with Salman and we see them taking sides – loud and clear. BTW, there is an elimination round as well! Read on to find out what went down in this episode.
Salman Talks About Tina & Shalin
Salman starts from where he left off in the last episode. He accuses Tina of being fake. Tina says she is confused to which Salman asks why, she doesn’t have a boyfriend outside the house so it shouldn’t be that confusing. He then moves on to Priyanka and says that she is heroine material but she is too whiny. Shalin hadn’t joined the contestants yet and then Shiv went and got him. Shalin explains his excuse for why he was late and Salman accepts his reasoning. Salman joked saying that love is blinding but maybe for Shalin love also is deaf. There is a long uncomfortable pause between Salman and Shalin. Eventually, Shalin admits he likes Tina, and Salman says to him that Tina will let him know if she likes him back or not.
The Fight Between Archana & MC Stan
Salman then moves on to Archana and MC Stan. He begins by asking Archana about the bathroom scene. Salman asks all the team members to tell him who was wrong among the two, Archana or Stan. One by one everyone gave their opinion and nearly all the housemates said Archana was at fault. Soundarya tries to take Archana’s side but Salman calls her out on it. In her defence, Archana tries to explain that Shiv instigated her and that’s why she lost her head. Salman accuses Archana of being jealous of MC Stan based on how she yelled at Stan the previous night. Archana retorted by saying that Stan does not work in the house. Salman then takes a poll on who thinks Stan works in the house and everyone raises their hands except for Archana herself. Salman now moves on to MC Stan and asks him what his response to Archana meant. Salman says that the two of them are lucky that there are rules and that’s why certain things cannot be aired on TV; they need to watch what they say. Salman reminds Archana that she wasn’t brought back to the show to keep creating such drama and ugly fights. He asks her about how she was so apologetic when he was brought back and now 4 weeks later she has continuously been fighting in the house. He calls out Archana because she has crossed the limit with nearly every housemate.
The One Who Spread False Rumours
While Salman takes a break, Archana asks Sajid about the whole matter. She starts arguing and yelling again. She tries to batter the current captain Abdu. Meanwhile, Stan and Shiv are discussing Archana in a separate room. Archana is gone berserk again. Priyanka tells Archana to get real and stop fighting and using tactics. Salman is back and witnessing what Archana is saying. Meanwhile, Sajid and Priyanka talk about how Priyanka comes off to the public. Sajid repeats what Salman said about Priyanka having a bright future in acting and Priyanka agrees and says that she will control her attitude. Salman finally speaks and asks Archana why she said that Bigg Boss is just a set and she won’t work anymore. Archana quickly changed her words and Salman tells her off. He says that she is too rude and she is ruining her image. Eventually, Salman reminds them all that before he took his break he said he will address the real person who started this ruckus when he gets back. Salman asks can anyone name who is the culprit for giving wrong information about the situation and fueling the fire, to which Sajid responds Sreejita, and Salman agrees. Sreejita says that she heard Archana tell Stan that she will cut his genitals. Salman told Sreejita that Bigg Boss had to give 5 warnings to Sreejita to stop spreading these rumours with such foul language but she didn’t understand. Salman said that all of this wasn’t aired in order to save these contestants’ public images. Finally, Salman closes the matter after all three contestants – Sreejita, Archana, and Stan – apologise.
The Blame Game
Moving on, Salman instructs Shiv and Shalin to pick up something that is kept in the storeroom. Salman sarcastically says that he is going to reveal what is being said about each contestant behind their back and the said contestant needs to name who has said those things about them and make them drink the bitter karela juice that Shiv and Shalin just brought out. Soundarya is up first. She says that Shalin has spoken ill about her and Salman reveals that she is right. Another rumour was mentioned about Soundarya and she then said that Sreejita has spread the said rumour and made her drink the karela juice. To this accusation, Salman says it was not Sreejita so take another guess. Soundarya then takes Tina’s name and she is made to drink the juice too but Soundarya is wrong again. Salman tries to give Soundarya a hint as to who it is and then he moves on but the name of the person is not mentioned. Next up is Tina, and Salman recites the rumour. Tina makes Sreejita drink and Salman confirms that she is the one who spread the rumour. There is another rumour about Tina and she says it is Shalin who spread the rumour. Salman confirms it was Shalin too and says look how his colours change. To that Tina also says that yes on her face he is sweet and behind her back, he talks crap. One more rumour about Tina is said accusing her of faking friendships with housemates. Tina thinks it is Soundarya who spread this rumour and Soundarya drinks. Shalin is next and the rumour against him is about him being manipulative. Shalin hands the drink to Tina and Salman jokes “don’t be hard on her” which is exactly what Shalin begged for Tina in the previous episode. A rumour about Priyanka is spoken by Salman about her being a narcissist. Priyanka says the person who said this is Sajid and Nimrit who said the rumour. Salman confirmed that Sajid’s name was right but Nimrit wasn’t the one who was also in on the rumour, it was Soundarya. Against Nimrit, two people spoke about her being a two-faced person who will ditch anyone when they need them the most. Nimrit says it is Stan and Sajid. Salman then signs off.
All the contestants try to clear up what was spoken about by other contestants behind their backs. Archana recites that she will not interfere with anyone ever again. Tina tells Sreejita she is hurt by what she said about her. Sajid tells Shalin that he has gotten to know that Tina is playing him and he tries to warn Shalin. Priyanka confronts Sajid about what he said about her calmly and Sreejita and Tina are there too. Sreejita also confronts Sajid about her hand in the fight between Archana and Stan. Sajid also tells Tina about being careful about being in a fake relationship with Shalin. Archana is crying in bed and says she is very sensitive to Soundarya.
The Housemates’ Family Members Enter The Chat
At the end of the episode, Salman says that the housemates’ family members will come on the show too. Salman then reveals clips of the housemates’ family members who are taking up for their kin. Before sending these family members into the house, Salman has a chat with all of them collectively. The matter of MC Stan and Archana is being discussed and both Stan and Archana’s respective family members take their side, while other contestants’ family members also support Stan’s mother in the matter. Salman asks Tina’s and Shalin’s mom about what is happening between their kids. Shalin’s mom is diplomatic about it all and Tina’s mom thinks her daughter is being a fool. Salman finally thanks the family members for coming on the show and goes back to talking to the contestants.
The Eliminations Round
Salman reveals the bottom 4: Shalin, Soundarya, Tina, & Archana. Salman says people like truthful people to reach the show’s finale. So Salman asks other contestants who is the most truthful and the fakest in the bottom 4. Sajid, Abdu, Stan, Sumbul, Shiv, and Priyanka say Archana is truthful and Shalin is fake. Nimrit says Archana is real and Tina is fake. Sreejita says Soundarya is real and Tina and Shalin are both fakes. Tina says Archana is real and Soundarya is fake. Soundarya takes Archana’s name for real and Tina’s for fake. Archana says the real one is Soundarya, and the fake one is Tina. Shalin says he himself is fake, and truthful is Tina. Salman reveals that no one is being eliminated today. No elimination is a relief, but Salman gives some advice. He tells them to pay mind to what happened this past week and tread carefully. The contestants go on to discuss what just happened in their cliques. Shalin is crying and Shiv is trying to console him. Shalin cries in front of Sreejita too and she tells him you got played. Sreejita immediately goes and reports this to Tina and Priyanka.
