Bigg Boss 16 is turning out to be quite a promising season. Along with catfights, endless misunderstandings, and drama, Bigg Boss is also adding some new googlies to make the contestants’ lives miserable in the house. The Bigg Boss 16 contestants start their day with the BB anthem!

MC Stan, Abdu, and Sajid discuss how tired they are. Sajid pulls Abdu’s leg and tells him that he is going to get married tomorrow in the Bigg Boss house.
9:52 PM
Abdu tells Tina, Ankit, and MC Stan that his shoes are made of real gold and are worth $5000. He promises Shalin that he will gift him a nice pair of shoes if he wins the show.

Gautam flirts with Soundarya in the kitchen and calls her a “bomb”.
9:56 PM
The BB phone rings. Bigg Boss informs Nimrit that she has been fired from being a captain. He asks everyone to gather in the living room and calls Nimrit into the confession room.
9:58 PM
BB gives Nimrit a second chance. He says that whoever presses the gong first, will get a chance to challenge Nimrit for captaincy. Nimrit is upset with Shalin as she feels betrayed.
10:00 PM
Sumbul confesses to Sajid that she feels left out on the show. She thinks that since she is the youngest, the others don’t take her seriously and treat her like a kid.
10:03 PM
Archana reads out the captaincy task that’ll take place between Shalin and Nimrit. They have to stand in a pose with a basket on their head. Whoever will leave the pose first, will lose. The other contestants can put whatever they want into their baskets.
10:05 PM
The task commences, and the other contestants start putting random stuff into their baskets. Most amount of things are put into Shalin’s basket. The housemates even put heavy dumbbells into Shalin’s basket.
10:07 PM
Shalin drops his basket and ends up losing the captaincy task which means that Nimrit will continue to be the captain of the house.
10:08 PM
Bigg Boss asks captain Nimrit if she wants to relieve the three punished contestants – Soundarya, Tina, and Priyanka, and give the house responsibilities to someone else.

Tina and Archana get into an argument when the latter calls her deaf.

Sumbul is seen crying because she is feeling left out. She tells Shalin that she’s not mentally strong enough to do the show and that everyone treats her like a child. Shalin consoles her and makes her laugh.

Shalin tells Sumbul that the other contestants think that there is something going on between them. Sumbul tells him that she feels a certain type of warmth with him.
10:17 PM
Soundarya and Archana get into a fight because the latter blames her for being unfair towards Shalin in the captaincy task. Tina also gets involved in the fight. Tina gets upset at Gautam because he sides with Archana.

Tina apologises to Shalin for not being supportive enough towards him during the task.
10:21 PM
Archana warns everyone to not touch her personal belongings.

Nimrit gives the full cooking responsibility to Archana. She tells the contestants to use the smoking zone one by one and not all at once. Nimrit says that she’s done being punished for others’ mistakes.

Bigg Boss asks Gori to perform a dance for the contestants. If she succeeds, she can save herself or someone else from nominations. The other nominated contestants will decide whether they liked Gori’s performance or not. If they all join her in the dance, she will win. If she loses, the other nominated contestants will get to decide who is saved from the nominations.

The other contestants are seen planning for the task. Shalin requests everyone to save Gautam from the nominations.
10:31 PM
Gori starts her dance performance. Archana, Sajid, Shiv, and MC Stan join her first. Later, even Gautam joins them.
10:33 PM
Gori wins the challenge and saves herself from the nominations.
10:35 PM
The contestants tease Abdu that Archana likes him and wants to marry him. Abdu says that he will kill himself if that is true. They continue teasing him with Sreejita and Priyanka.

Tina and Shalin discuss that they have a special bond that’ll never break. Are we sensing a love triangle here?

Nimrit tells Gautam that Priyanka and Ankit eat from one plate and end up taking more food than the others.

Abdu teases Gautam and Soundarya together. He tells Gautam that he will help him win Soundarya over.

MC Stan confides in Abdu and tells him that he wants to go home. The rapper says that he doesn’t want fame or money. Abdu tries to console him and tells him that he needs to be strong. He tells Stan that Bigg Boss makes you realise that you can’t be a superstar at all times. TBH, I’m already an Abdu fan!

Tina tells Shalin that she gets negative vibes from Sreejita and hence prefers to walk out instead of sitting in the same room as her.
10:46 PM
Nimrit tells Shalin that she finds Tina immature and that Sreejita is much more sorted than her. Shalin agrees with Nimrit. They discuss certain behaviours of Tina that they do not like.
