Episode 90 of Bigg Boss 16 was lit because a lot of plotting and games were brought to light through an exciting task given by Bigg Boss to the contestants. Ever since Shiv acquired captaincy, there is a sudden shift in tides within the BB house. The Bigg Boss 16 day 89 promo gave us a glimpse of a new task in the house as well and the day 88 episode already sparked tons of fights between housemates that are sure to be carried forward. Read on to find out all that went down on Day 89 in the Bigg Boss House.
A Fake Fight To Gain Screen Time?
Shalin and Vikkas began arguing in the morning during breakfast. The argument breaks up and Vikkas goes to the kitchen to do his duties along with Tina and the rest of the contestants to help set up breakfast. Shalin meanwhile discusses with other contestants about Vikkas and how Vikas expects Tina to do stuff for him. Shalin admitted that Tina does things for him separately, but that doesn’t mean she will do it for everyone, especially for Vikkas. Meanwhile, Vikkas was talking to Tina while they both were helping with cooking. Suddenly Shalin approaches the counter and both Vikkas and Shalin start arguing again. Sajid, Sumbul discuss that this fight might just be a staged one for the cameras. Sajid believes that Shalin is trying to get more screen time in hopes that he lasts longer in the house.
The Task That Saves One Contestant From Eliminations
Big Boss announces a new task called the BB Daily. BB explains that the BB Daily newspaper will have the contestants who are nominated for elimination to be the newspaper’s journalists. These 8 nominated contestants are Sreejita, Vikkas, Soundarya, Sumbul, Tina, Shalin, Nimrit, and Priyanka are now journalists for the newspaper. The contestants safe from the nominations Shiv, Abdu, MC Stan, Sajid and Archana are to become this newspaper’s editors. There will be a battle between all 8 nominated contestants. From all the 8 contestants nominated, one person per story will be incriminated along with fitting evidence and an article will be published on them in the newspaper. This game will have 3 rounds and only 7 articles will be published in the newspaper. Every time the door opens, the editor’s office is open. The editors will listen to the headlines and stories that each of the journalists wants to pitch. After that, the moment you hear the typewriter that round is over. For the first two rounds, only two editors are allowed in the office and they will choose articles to publish. The last round’s editor will be the house captain Shiv, who will select 3 news articles to publish. If there is already an article about a certain contestant already published, in the next rounds, no more articles can be published about them. Whoever is nominated will have an article published on them, but whoever does not get an article published, that contestant will be safe from elimination.
BB Daily Newspaper In Business
The first round of the game starts at 3 pm in the BB House. MC Stan and Archana are the editors sitting in the office for the first round. The contestants enter the office one by one and begin their pitches. Editor Archana chooses Nimrit’s article pitched by Priyanka to publish. Editor MC Stan chooses Vikkas’s story pitched by Sreejita. That concludes the first round. The second round has Abdu and Sajid as editors. Before the round starts, Shiv asks Sajid to make the right decisions. At the end of round 2, Editor Sajid chooses Soundarya’s pitch on Shalin Bhanot starting a fake fight. The editors also chose Tina’s pitch for Sreejita who has no loyalty in the house. End of round 3, Editor Shiv picks articles written about Soundariya, Priyanka, and Tina to be published in the BB Daily. This means Sumbul is saved from being eliminated as out of the 8 nominated contestants/journalists, an article with her name wasn’t published.
Shalin Gets Called Out For Plotting
After the game, Shiv approaches Shalin about what he said and how plotted against one contestant for the game. Shiv was basically talking about Shalin plotting against Sumbul and said that it was not right. Sumbul also approaches Shalin about what he said about her. She fought back saying that she is not weak. Meanwhile, even Nimrit found Shalin’s game plan to be quite shady as he almost was going to frame her falsely just to pitch a story idea for the game.
Bigg Boss Calls Priyanka & Nimrit To The Confessions Room
Priyanka and Nimrit get summoned by Bigg Boss to the room. BB asked them both who got saved in the task and they both responded ‘Sumbul’. After that BB brought up the tussle between Shiv and Shalin regarding the task wherein Shiv accused Shalin of plotting against Sumbul. BB also recalls how last week Shalin was the one trying to save Sumbul from getting eliminated. BB wanted them to know about this because Shalin’s behaviour isn’t genuine. The two contestants ponder upon what BB just told them.
Archana Wakes Up Screaming
Archana wakes up with a nightmare at 2 AM. Vikas who is sleeping on the next bed wakes up and tries to help her calm down. Archana had a dream about a family member not being well. A few contestants also got to know about Archana’s nightmare as one of them went to get water from the kitchen. Priyanka also went over to Archana to help her. Soon nearly everyone in the BB house was awake and aware about Archana’s nightmare.
That’s all the drama and games that went down on Day 89, episode 90 in Bigg Boss 16. The December 29th episode was truly enlightening and brought out many contestants’ true colours.
