Bigg Boss is hands down the most loved reality show in India and fans have been waiting to get any info they can about the new season. Well, brace yourselves because we’ve received some major deets! The new season is allegedly going to air from October 1 onwards and we cannot wait to see what host and dost Salman Khan has in store for us.
The season is also expected to have a fresh list of controversial contestants. While several fan pages on social media are speculating the name of participants, we’ve got a tentative list of a few contestants and it’s hella interesting!
Ankita Lokhande
Pavitra Rishta fame Ankita Lokhande was rumoured to participate in the show last season as well. If sources are to be believed, fans will see her this season. With the demise of her ex-boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput, her journey with depression, being a part of Pavitra Rishta 2, and finally tying the knot, the actress has had a lot going on in the last few years. It would be great to see her showcase her true self in the BB house.
Disha Parmar
Bade Achhe Lagte Hai 2 actress Disha Parmar is also expected to be a part of the show. Her husband and then-boyfriend, Rahul Vaidya was the first runner-up in season 14. Disha gained massive popularity when Rahul proposed to her on Valentine’s day in the Bigg Boss house. At least she’s got her husband to give her some BB survival tips. Lucky girl!
Shiney Ahuja
Shiney Ahuja has been MIA for a while now and we’re sure viewers would be excited to see him on a reality show. The Bhool Bhulaiya actor was accused of raping his former domestic helper, but Shiney stated that he was wrongly convicted. If he does appear on the show, it’s gonna be one dramatic ride.
Munawar Faruqui
Stand-up comedian and rapper Munawar Faruqui gained major fame after he won Kangana Ranaut’s reality show Lock Upp. He was the most-loved contestant on that show and he’s definitely Bigg Boss material. We can’t wait to see if he puts forth his best game on this show as well.
Saisha Shinde
Another Lock Upp contestant, Saisha Shinde has also apparently been approached for the show, though there is no confirmation on the same. Viewers were quite impressed with the fashion designer’s presence on Kangana Ranaut’s show and would be elated to have her as a part of the BB house.
Prachi Desai
Rock On actress Prachi Desai has also been approached by the BB makers to be a part of the show. The actress gained major popularity when she was a part of the TV serial Kasam Se alongside Ram Kapoor. Although she did a few feature films post the serial, fans haven’t seen her in the longest time. Hence, it would be quite a delight to see her raw self in the BB house.
Vivian Dsena
Vivian was quite famous among teenage girls back in 2010 when he was on Pyaar Kii Yeh Ek Kahani. He has worked with Colors on a number of shows and fans are hoping he’d appear on the much-awaited reality show as well. As per sources, the actor has been approached for the show, however, only time will tell if he agrees to be a part of it or not.
Besides this tentative list, a few images of the Bigg Boss house set have also been leaked on social media. The show starts with a certain theme every year. Last season commenced with a unique jungle theme where contestants had to live outside and earn a place in the house. This year the set looks as plush as ever and according to the images, it looks like an aqua theme.
