Masoom Minawala & Cannes- A Love Story!
Luxury fashion influencer and entrepreneur, Masoom Minawala has been representing India on the prestigious Cannes platform for 3 consecutive years now. But as they rightly say, the third time was a charm. Talking about her five looks for the 2022 event with a leading daily, Masoom shared, “This time around I’m wearing a melange of Indian, Middle Eastern, and European designers. I’m extremely excited to experiment with my look, but at the same time, I’m staying true to my personal style.” Let’s revisit the magic she created that we still can’t get over.
Pretty In Pink!
Masoom’s first look was enough to give us a gist of the stunning ensembles coming our way. She painted the town pink in an all-pink outfit from the Valentino Pink PP Collection. She styled it with a pair of classic pink Valentino stockings, a mini quilted bag, and pink platform square-toe pumps from the same brand. Adorned with gemstone rings from Swarovski and Karishma Joolry, the overall look was worth turning a thousand heads.
Celebrating India & How
Masoom has always showcased the much-needed craftsmanship of India and given them a global shoutout. 2022 was no different. To celebrate the opening of the Indian pavilion at the prestigious festival, Masoom flaunted a hand-embroidered blouse with cape sleeves paired with a draped bodice skirt by renowned designer Amit Agarwal. This pistachio-coloured blouse was made using delicate coral flower lace and featured glass and bead detailing that was gently structured.
A Flowery Affair
Just like Masoom, this look of hers was simply a breath of fresh air. She received the loudest cheers in the room as she walked the red carpet in this Sophie Couture gown, which looked nothing short of a fairytale. Be it the corset-style bodice, the princess-core voluminous skirt, or an array of multi-coloured intricate embroidered flowers, everything screamed dreamy in different languages. Loved how she kept it minimalistic with a subtle bracelet by Karishma Joolry and hair-flowers by Floral Art By Shrishti.
No Such Thing As Too Much Pink!
Making an appearance at the premiere of ‘Top Gun: Maverick’, Masoom gave major barbie-core as she donned a rani pink voluminous gown by Yousef Akbar. What added chaar chaand to her look was the tube design around the corset area and the extravagant bow detailing at the back. The dreamy outfit was paired was a multi-layered necklace by Swarovski, which added a subtle touch of shine to the ensemble.
Beauty In Black
Taking cues from retro aesthetics, Masoom wore a shimmery asymmetrical jet-black tulle gown by Saiid Kobeisy for the World Influencers and Bloggers Awards. With Masoom bagging the ‘most authentic fashion influencer’ award, it surely was a winning gown for the winning moment! The wide slit and the bejewelled croissant clutch by Judith Leiber added much-needed drama to her look.
