One of my favourite makeup products is blush. A tiny bit of it is enough to make my skin look fresh and radiant. Pink, mauve, coral, rose, peach – blush products are available in a variety of shades and formulas. To find the perfect blush color, you should know your skin tone first. Once you’ve done that, you’re ready to give any of these cool blush hacks a shot!
5 Amazing Blush Hacks For That Natural, Dewy Flush
We bet you love all of ’em!
Mix It With Dry Oil
A richly pigmented blush requires plenty of blending so that it looks natural on the skin. Rather than aesthetic, too much blush product on the cheeks can be distracting. Mix a little bit of blush pigment with dry oil and gently dab the product on your cheeks for that soft, dewy glow.
Use It As A Colour Corrector

This makeup hack is cool because you make a colour corrector using just blush and petroleum jelly. All you have to do is take a tiny bit of blush on your fingertips and mix it with a teaspoon of petroleum jelly. Dab the product on your under-eye area, sides of your nose, chin, cheeks, basically anywhere you spot discolouration. If you feel a certain patch of skin looks too bright or too pink, even it out by layering it with concealer.
One Product That Does The Job Of Three!
Never underestimate the power of blush, because it’s a multi-tasker! If you’re a ‘less is more’ kinda girl, you should definitely try a monotone makeup look. After applying the blush on the apples of your cheeks, mix some of it with petroleum jelly to make an eyeshadow and lip stain product. Just like that, you did your entire makeup look using just one product!
Two Blushes Are Better Than One

Many a time, blushes tend to fade too quickly. To prevent this from happening, first, apply cream blush, then lightly layer it with a powder blush. This makeup hack will not only set the cream blush but also help the product to stay put for long hours.
P.S. Since you’re using two pigmented blushes, don’t apply too much of product on your cheeks. Start with a tiny amount and gradually build from there.
Mix It With A Face Cream To Create A Cream Blush
If you don’t like the texture of powder blush, don’t throw it away yet! Mix 1 tsp of blush with 1 tbsp of face cream. Stir both the ingredients well using a toothpick and your dreamy cream blush is ready! Such a great way to save money, right?
