There are a million reasons to watch the Oscars, but I mostly watch it for outstanding beauty inspo. And the 2023 Oscar Awards saw the industry’s biggest names serve on the beauty front.
From Deepika’s classic beauty look to Rihanna’s OTT top-knot, I am head over heels in love with the many hair and makeup looks celebs flaunted at the event.
Here’s a roundup of some of the most eye-catching celebrity beauty looks at the 2023 Oscars.
Rihanna’s Quirky Top-Knot
Rihanna wore a double-looped top knot with some messy flicks at the Oscars and she looked absolutely gorgeous. She paired her edgy hairstyle with classic red lipstick, winged eyeliner, and silver eyeshadow.
The L’Oreal Paris Satin Hairspray Strong Hold will help you recreate it.
Deepika’s Audrey Hepburn Moment
Taking a cue from Audrey Hepburn’s Breakfast At Tiffany’s look, Deepika‘s sharp winged eyeliner with her nude makeup was a class apart. Even her bun was a nod to the classic 1950s hairstyle.
The MyGlamm Wheelie Liquid Eyeliner’s precision is just what you need to nail a sharp eyeliner like DP’s.
Halle Berry’s Glorious Curls
This Hollywood star styled her pixie cut with gorgeous curls and boy, she looked gorg! Her hair was swept to the side to add more volume and character. Her bold smokey eyes balanced her dewy skin and ombre lips that were so ’90s.
To enhance my curly hair texture, I like using the Fix My Curls Ready, Set, Refresh Spray.
Florence Pugh’s Faux Fringes
The Don’t Worry Darling star opted for a sleek high ponytail that was pulled all the way to her forehead to give her faux micro bangs. The ponytail was accessorised with a black bow and her makeup featured blushing pink hues.
You need a stronghold hair gel to get Florence’s faux bangs and I like to use the Sebastian Professional Gel Forte Strong For Stronger Hold.
Vanessa Hudgens’s Luxe Hair & Makeup
Vanessa also chose a black ribbon as a hair accessory and a double-looped bun hairstyle. Her hair is super sleek and she went for a sun-kissed blush and a subtle glazed base to complete her look.
The Black Solid Hair Clip by Urbanic is a cute black ribbon hair accessory that I’m dying to try out.
Lady Gaga’s Bold Reverse Eyeliner
The House Of Gucci star went for a full glamm makeup look and I love it. Her reverse eyeliner was bold and exaggerated and she paired it with pink blush and a statement red lipstick.
I create my perfect red lip by mixing shades from the POPxo Makeup Collection Mini Lip Kit – Left On Red.
Ashley Graham’s Braided Updo
Looks like celebrity hairstyles were the highlight of the Oscar Awards beauty looks because even Ashley Graham slayed in a unique braided updo. Her high bun had many micro braids looped together to create an otherworldly snatched ‘do.
To give this hairstyle a mirror-like shine, I’m going to use the Schwarzkopf Professional Osis+ Sparkler Shine Spray.
Janelle Monae’s Striking Eyeliner
The Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery actress also wore a braided hairdo but her shimmery champagne lids and dramatic winged eyeliner are what caught my eye.
The POPxo Makeup Collection 12 Eyeshadow Kit – Squad Goals is my go-to eyeshadow palette for acing such dramatic eye makeup.
Elizabeth Olsen’s Basic Glamm
The Wanda Vision star’s Oscars beauty look is a lesson in minimal glamm. She paired a sleek low bun hairstyle with a bold red lipstick and wore a nude shimmer eyeshadow on her lids. No liner, just some mascara and that’s it!
To get my lids to look luxe without doing too much, I swipe on a shimmer shade from the POPxo Makeup Collection 12 Eyeshadow Kit – Nood Crew.
Mindy Kaling’s OTT Lashes
The gorgeous South Asian actress pushed her hair back and went all out with her makeup for the Oscars. She wore a glittery silver eyeshadow with OTT winged eyeliner and opted for a dark satin mauve lipstick to complete her look.
My favourite mauve lipstick that looks amazing on Indian skin tones is the MyGlamm LIT Liquid Matte Lipstick – Hits Different.
The celebrity hair and makeup inspo at the 2023 Oscars is too glamm to pass up on. I have bookmarked all of the beauty looks and can’t wait to try them out.
