As per my phone’s screen time data, I spent 3 hours and 29 mins on Amazon yesterday. While this might look questionable to many, I come bearing the fruits of my endless scrolling (along with dark circles).
Amazon never fails to amaze me. From luxe perfumes to absolute necessities, I behave like a child in a candy shop when I scroll. And this time, my obsession is with beauty tools under ₹500. That’s actually the cab fare I’d pay to visit my nearest mall. It’s a steal!
I wasn’t there wasting (all of) my time. So here’s what I got on my cheapest Amazon haul ever.
For A Spa-Like Massage At Home
If you are a beauty gal, even a noob, you know the importance of a face massage. More importantly, you know the feeling that comes from a good face massage. And this Piara 5-In-1 Face Facial Exfoliator & Massager Kit delivers just that.
For Dark Circles & Puffy Eyes
Something about getting 8 hours of sleep to look decent doesn’t sit well with me. My perpetually sleep-deprived eyes were begging for some help. And this Doucce Ice Roller is a saviour. My undereye bags are no longer heavier than my bag of groceries. I’m counting small wins!
For Dry & Chapped Lips
Lip balms and lip oils can only do so much if the lips are chapped. The first step to a plump pout is a lip care routine that involves exfoliating. Initially, I bought this Glow Lip Brush by Biocule only because it was cute and pink. Turns out, it’s very helpful too.
For A Cutesy DIY Manicure
Personally, I think manicures have become quite expensive. But this MeeTo 5 Pieces Nail Art Dotting Marbleizing Tool Pen will give professionals a run for their money. For those weekends when I want to cop a simple design on my nails and feel cute, I have this product to thank.
For All The Peach Fuzz
During one of my weak moments, I ended up using my dad’s razor as a child (read: naive teenager). Worst mistake ever! But moving on, I realised epilators are my thing. Now, most of ’em are quite big and wired. But I found this EIRMON Hair Remover For Women Skincare Lipstick Shape Mini Epilator. It literally fits into my tiny toilet pouch and can be taken everywhere.
For Oily Skin
I keep joking about how my face is so oily, it could lubricate noisy hinges. As an end to my cribbing, I found this TCCO Enterprise Oil Absorbing Volcanic Stone Face Roller on Amazon. It’s also reusable so my pseudo-environmentalist alter ego can take a chill pill!
FYI, they’re all priced under ₹500. Go buy ’em already!
