Look, I admit it, I spend more than an hour every day for three months watching Bigg Boss (reality show haters, judge me all you want). But what makes this show featuring a bunch of mostly out-of-work actors who gather to make each other’s life a living hell for about 100 days such a big hit? Well, what happens when there are big egos under one roof? Drama. Lots of it. Housemates are eliminated and wild-card entries are brought in. The more fights gharwalas can get it, the more people tune in.
Another major attraction of the show is Sallu Bhai, the longest-running host of this longest-running reality show. Trust me, his questionable acting skills and court cases don’t really bother his fans. And the reason why TRP of the show go up on weekends is that a lot of people tune unto watch the Bhai of Bollywood and his famous friends (celebrities who come on the show to promote their films). Last night, Ayushmann Khurrana and his co-actors Jitendra Kumar and Neena Gupta were on the sets to promote their upcoming film, Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan. The film, which is all set to release on February 21, brings the conversation about the LGBTQ+ community to the forefront.
Salman, however, uttered some very disgusting statements last night. Dear Salman, can you please stop giving us your illogical wisdom every time you open your mouth?
Jab #ShubhMangalZyadaSaavdhan se milne aaye @ayushmannk, @Neenagupta001 aur @Farjigulzar tab hui @BeingSalmanKhan ke saath bahut saari masti!

WTF Things Salman Said On The Show Last Night
May we remind you this isn’t the first time Bhai has made some problematic statements.
“Line change karli kya, patri badal li tumne”
Which basically means he is asking Ayushmann if he’s ‘become’ gay. Apparently, this still needs explaining (at least to Salman Khan). He sure needs to know being gay is NOT a choice. Mr Khan, sexuality tends to dawn upon us in late childhood or early adolescence. It’s just that for some people, awareness comes later, but it’s not something people choose or decide.
“Smooching hui hai kya”..”Kiss karne ke used to nahi hue na”
WTF does that even mean? Yes, Salman, same-sex couples do make out in real life and it’s completely normal. We are happy that Bollywood is making a film that’s aiming to normalise same-sex relationships. But Salman just doesn’t seem to get it. Sorry Bhai, it’s NOT amusing at all.
“Who is the girl in the relationship”
This question shows how Bhai presumes same-sex relationships can only work if they ape heteronormative beliefs (which means that sexual and marital relations are most fitting between people of the opposite sex). In a same-sex relationship, the couple is NOT seen as the ‘man’ or ‘woman’.
Hey Salman, how about doing some research before you make such statements and embarrass yourself on national television?
