Whether it is listening to Princess Jasmine or Bella’s stories or trying to copy the colour schemes of their outfits, I’ve done it all during my childhood. But I bet I’m not the only one obsessed with these characters. Just like me, there’s an artist who loves them a little too much.
Professional sketch artist Schaya Sri has come up with an extremely creative and interesting way to keep herself occupied amid the coronavirus pandemic. Indian traditional dance costumes are known for being bright and attractive. These dresses are created to match the vibrant, dramatic and often loud movements of the dance form itself–whether it is Kathak from Uttar Pradesh or Bharatanatyam from Tamil Nadu.
