In the last 24 hours, 90,000 new COVID-19 cases have been reported in India bringing the country’s total to a whopping 4.11 million cases. Without a COVID-19 vaccine in hand, the situation seems to be getting worse by the day. The more we are testing, the more cases are coming to the front. Among these, Arjun Kapoor is the newest Bollywood celebrity to confirm that he is COVID positive.
Earlier today, Arjun took to Instagram to inform his fans about the news via a post. Here’s what the actor said:
He mentions in the post that he is feeling okay and is asymptomatic, informing that he will be under home quarantine as advice by his doctors and the authorities. He also expressed his faith that all of humanity will overcome this virus.
Some of the biggest B-Town celebrities in the country who have tested positive for coronavirus in the past are Genelia Deshmukh, Himansh Kohli, Shrenu Parikh, Parth Samthaan, Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and Kanika Kapoor.
If you recall, earlier in May, two of Boney Kapoor’s (Arjun’s father) domestic staff had also tested positive for COVID-19. Janhvi Kapoor had shared the news on Instagram.
