What does it take to push a good human being off the high road? A bunch of “ill-intended lies” that do nothing more than cause you humiliation and make you a target of incessant cyber trolling. And we are glad Anushka Sharma finally broke her silence and gave a fitting and savage response shutting the haters once and for all.
The Bollywood actress and wife of Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli has always been blamed for anything that hasn’t worked in the team’s favour. Ever since Virushka started dating, she was deemed a distraction that took a toll on Kohli’s performance. Sometimes, she was even held responsible for India’s losses. Now, former cricketer Farokh Engineer said in an interview, “All they (BCCI selectors) were doing was getting Anushka Sharma cups of tea” during a World Cup match in England earlier this year.
Now, usually, Anushka ignores such ‘news’ and carries on with her life. But this time around, the 31-year-old decided the take a stand. Anushka posted a hard-hitting and badass letter on Instagram that’s winning the Internet’s respect and love. Here’s what she wrote:
