Lately, Pavitra Rishta actress Ankita Lokhande has been in headlines for her warrior look in The Queen of Jhansi: Manikarnika as Jhalkaribai. When the photo of her character was released, her ex-boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput commented on the same, saying, “It looks absolutely great Ankita. I’m extremely happy to see this. May God bless with lots of success and happiness,” to which Ankita replied with a thank you and best wishes.
This short chat between Ankita and Sushant on Instagram has left their fans with some hope of a reconciliation, but looks like our reel-life Jhalkaribai is way too happy to worry about her past. On Tuesday night, Ankita celebrated her birthday with her co-star Kangana Ranaut.
Ankita threw her birthday party at a restaurant in Mumbai. Along with Kangana Ranaut, her family and close friends such as Mouni Roy also attended the party. The producer of the film Kamal Jain was also spotted at the party. Not just one, Ankita’s birthday party had three cakes. One even had her Jhalkaribai look on it and ‘Ankita As Jhalkari’ written on it.
While Kangana Ranaut showed up in a subtle grey long dress, the birthday girl was dressed in a sequin red dress.

Rumour has it that Ankita Lokhande is planning to get married to a Mumbai-based businessman Vicky Jain in 2019. Her movie Manikarnika is releasing on January 25.
