The wedding bells have rung, and the countdown has begun. After their engagement last year, Mukesh Ambani’s son, Anant Ambani, and his fiance, Radhika Merchant, are set to kickstart their pre-wedding celebrations in March.
According to their invitation schedule, which is now going viral on social media, the pre-wedding festivities will take place at the Reliance Greens in Jamnagar, Gujarat, from March 1 to 3, 2024.
A letter from the groom’s parents, Nita and Mukesh Ambani, explaining the emotional reason behind the Jamnagar venue is also viral. Apparently, their son, Anant, has carefully “nurtured this complex into a haven of care and compassion for over thousands of rescued animals.” The complex, near Jamnagar, is home to Asia’s largest mango orchard. The letter claims Reliance’s trajectory of transforming the dry and arid region into a “bustling green community”.
Given the history of weddings in the Ambani family, we don’t expect this one to be any less of an extravagant affair. Soon, our feeds will be popping up with snippets of the venue and Bollywood’s A-listers attending the event.
Meanwhile, Internet users are declaring how they would have attended the wedding if they weren’t busy.
If the older reports are to be believed, the couple is likely to tie wedding knots in June or July this year.
