An Open Letter To Archana Gautam, The BB 16 Contestant With Zero Sensitivity

Dear Archana Gautam

You were one of my favourites when you were the only one standing up to Sajid Khan‘s bossy behaviour. I also loved you when you refused to treat Abdu Rozik like a child and treated him as a fellow contestant instead. But lately, it has become increasingly difficult to like you. Kya challa, Archana? Did you finally take off your mask or did the Bigg Boss 16 house get the best of you? Your muddas may be correct, but your harsh words defeat the purpose. Archana, it’s high time you start thinking before you speak.

I appreciate that you enjoy cooking for the house and that the kitchen is your favourite place to be but that doesn’t make you the boss. Every day, you pick fights with other contestants in the kitchen and say despicable things. When you fought with Vikkas Manaktala over food and raised his personal issues, it broke my heart. You used something he told you in confidence while in a vulnerable state. That just makes you a bad person.

While I’m not a huge fan of Shalin Bhanot and agree that he often digs his own grave, what you said to him was also quite inappropriate. It’s not cool to bring his ex-wife into the middle of your muddas. Worst of all, you rarely feel guilty about what you say. And while you might believe that making a baby face in front of Salman Khan will salvage your image, the viewers can see through the facade!

Also, what’s up with all the sexism? I expected so much more from you as a young, 27-year-old woman who claims to be all fierce and fearless. Dynamics in the BB 16 house frequently shift, as yours did with Priyanka Choudhary. But when you call out her “laziness” by saying things like she will go to “paraya ghar,” it is the epitome of backward thinking. It is frightening to see a new-age politician think like that. Also, it’s high time you stop commenting on contestants’ lack of “sharam” and “lihaj” and try evaluating yourself before pointing fingers at others.

While every contestant in the Bigg Boss 16 house has flaws, Archana, you have disappointed me the most. It’s sad when you waste your potential by causing harm to others. We hope to see a new, improved version of you soon. But with just five weeks left for the finale, the clock is ticking. The message is simple—buckle up or go home!

From,

Someone tired of your foul mouth!
