This Bollywood Celeb’s Shaadi Outfit Was Cheaper Than A Zara Dress!

When it comes to a celebrity’s shaadi, all we can think about is a grandeur setup, extravagant ensembles, a star-studded guest list, and a scrumptious menu! While most of the tinsel town stars have started to ditch the taam jhaam and opt for a lowkey wedding, wearing the most exquisite outfits on their D-day still remains constant. But what if I tell you there’s a B’wood actress whose shaadi ka joda costed way less than a Zara dress?

Back in 2014, Vivah fame Amrita Rao got married to RJ Anmol in an intimate ceremony at Iskcon temple, Pune. However, what raised eyebrows was when the actress recently revealed that her temple wedding attire was worth Rs 3,000! Here’s everything you need to know about it:

After 9 years of secretly getting married in an intimate ceremony, Amrita and RJ Anmol released a series of videos on their YouTube channel- Couple Of Things. Apart from their hatke love story, they also shared some inside deets about their shaadi. The couple mentioned that they only did an expenditure of a mere Rs 1.50 lakh on their wedding in total. The most surprising bit? Despite being one of the Bollywood biggies of her time, Amrita decided to ditch the high-end designers and channel her inner Poonam from Vivah. She went ahead with the most basic traditional attire. Talking about the same, she shared, “Designer toh out of picture tha, since we wanted to keep it low-key. So I got a traditional red saree from a shop called Lazri in Dadar.” While Amrita spent a mere Rs 3,000 on her outfit, Anmol’s kurta-pyjama was worth Rs 2,500! Here, watch their VIVAH vlog:

Gotta give it to the couple for looking like a dream at their wedding in outfits worth less than Rs 6,000! And for all the inside goss around their love story, go check out their debut book- Couple Of Things!
