The recent NMACC gala was nothing less than a desi version of the MET gala. It saw some of the biggest Bollywood and Hollywood names come together to celebrate our culture. Many International stars like Zendaya, Gigi Hadid, and Tom Holland made the occasion extra special with their presence.
The Ambanis made it all happen! Whether it’s Ambani fam’s philanthropic endeavours or grand wedding celebrations, they sure know how to make the most of everything.

Meet The Ambanis
The Parents
Mukesh Ambani is the son of the late industrialist and businessman Dhirubhai Dhirajlal Hirachand Ambani aka Dhirubhai Ambani and Kokilaben Ambani. Dhirubhai Ambani was the founder of Reliance Industries. He decided to handover RIL to both his sons Mukesh and Anil Ambani after suffering a massive stroke. Sr. Ambani passed away in 2002.
Mukesh married Nita Ambani in 1985 and they have three kids–Anant, Akash, and Isha Ambani. Mukesh Ambani is currently the Chairman of Reliance Industries whereas Nita is the Founder and Chairperson of Reliance Foundation. According to Bloomberg Billionaire Index, Mukesh Ambani’s net worth is estimated to be around $81.1 billion.
Mukesh also has three siblings–Nina Kothari, Anil Ambani, and Depti Salgaocar
Nina Kothari: Nina got married to Bhadrashyam Kothari in 1986 and has two kids Nayanthara and Arjun. However, after Bhadrashyam passed away in 2015, Nita became the Chairperson of the multi-crore conglomerate, Kothari Sugars and Chemicals Ltd. Nina is also the owner of a coffee chain, called Javagreen.
Anil Ambani: Mukesh’s younger brother Anil is the Chairman of the Reliance ADA Group. He married Bollywood actress Tina Munim in 1991 and she is now the Chairman and founder of family-run NGOs and Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai. The couple has two sons, Jai Anmol and Jai Anshul. Anmol is married to Krishna Shah and in 2017, he became the Executive Director of Reliance Capital.
Depti Ambani: The youngest daughter Depti is married to Dattaraj Salgaocar, who is the owner and Managing Director of V.M.Salgaocar Group of Companies. They have two kids Vikran Salgaocar and Isheta Salgaocar who is now married.
The New Gen Ambanis
Mukesh Ambani’s eldest son Akash Ambani married Shloka Mehta in 2019. She’s the daughter of Russel Mehta, who owns the world’s largest diamond company Rosy Blue. Akash and Shloka were blessed with a baby boy, Pritivi Akash Ambani, in 2020. Currently, Akash is heading Jio Telecom as the Chairman.
Daughter Isha Ambani is married to Anand Piramal who is the Executive Director at the Piramal Group. Isha is currently Director for Reliance Jio Infocomm and Reliance Retail Ventures. The couple became parents to twins Aadiya and Krishna in November 2022.
The youngest of the clan, Anant Ambani got engaged to his high-school sweetheart Radhika Merchant in January 2022. She’s the daughter of billionaires Viren Merchant and Shaila Merchant. Her father is the CEO of Encore Healthcare. Anant currently heads the energy division of RIL.
