Not a day goes by when Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are not on the top of our Instagram FYPs, courtesy of their much-awaited wedding. While the love birds have chosen to remain tight-lipped, several reports of the couple’s alleged wedding later this week are doing rounds on social media. On Sunday morning, the paparazzi snapped Alia and Ranbir’s new abode being bedecked with bunches of string lights we cannot contain our excitement!
The Preps For The #RanbirAliaWedding Are Underway At Krishna Raj Bungalow
It’s all happening in the Kapoor Khandaan! Fun, celebration, and excitement, albeit quiet so far, have reached a fever-high pitch. Their new home is actually the Kapoor family’s Krishna Raj Bungalow which was demolished to make way for a lush new building. While the building’s construction is still underway, a little birdie tells us that the power couple will be performing a few religious rituals at the home next week.
The building’s first and second-floor apartments are almost ready and believed to be of Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt and Neetu Kapoor’s respectively. The Kapoor clan is keen on having Ranbir’s first post-wedding puja to be performed at their new abode.
While destination weddings are a trend these days in Bollywood, the power couple is going to exchange vows next week in Mumbai itself. As Ranbir’s parents Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor got married at the RK house on January 20, 1980, Ranbir too wants to marry his ladylove at the Chembur home. A little birdie tells us that a guestlist of 450 people will be handled by Shaadi Squad wedding planners.
Just a few days ahead of the wedding, Ayan Mukherji dropped a poster featuring the love birds and called it the love poster of Brahmastra. Along with it the filmmaker also hinted that there’s some ‘extra love in the air these days.’
Even though there is still confusion around the wedding date, it is being said that the much-in-love couple is all set to take the plunge on the 14th of April. Apparently, the two have already sent out their save-the-dates and the invitations. According to the grapevine, the power couple have made their guests sign an NDA agreement which refrains anybody from talking about their wedding in public.
Their families and close social circle are said to be gearing up for the celebrations. The close ones, who’ll be attending the wedding, have been informed to keep themselves free from the 2nd week of April. Earlier in April, Alia’s half-brother confirmed that the couple’s wedding would be a 4-day event.
Today Alia was spotted out and about, just a few days before her rumoured wedding. With a few days left for the wedding, Alia and Ranbir’s shaadi ki taiyarian are in full swing. The hype around the wedding just keeps increasing with new rumours coming to light every day. We can’t wait for ’em to make things official!
